Gia’s back hit the cold stone balustrade, the rough marble biting through the thin silk of her top. Leo didn't stop until he was inches away, a solid wall of pure, furious heat blocking out the rest of the world. The dark, sweet scent of bourbon and raw sandalwood rolled off him, entirely overwhelming her senses.

"What do you care who I talk to, Leo?" Gia fired back, her voice shaking but her eyes defiant as she forced herself to look up into his dark, unyielding stare. "You don't own me. Go back inside to your friends."

"You spent the last hour trying to see how far you could push me, Gia," Leo murmured, his voice a low, gravelly vibration against her skin. He stepped flush against her, his thigh pinning hers against the railing, completely trapping her. "Letting him touch you, looking right at me while he did it. You wanted to know what would happen? Well, look at me."

"I don't want you," she lied, her chest heaving, her breath catching as his shadow completely consumed her.

"Liar," Leo whispered.

His hand came up, his long fingers wrapping firmly around her jaw. He tilted her face upward, his thumb pressing hard against her bottom lip with a dominant, quiet intensity. The brief touch sent a sharp, electric jolt straight down her spine. "You've been watching me from the dark for months, pretending you're too innocent for this world. But we both know the truth."

"Leo, stop..."

He didn't give her the chance to finish. Driven by weeks of coiled friction, Leo bent his head and slammed his mouth onto hers.

The kiss was a fierce, demanding claim that completely shattered every boundary she had desperately tried to build. It was hot, unforgiving, and possessive, bruising her lips as he forced her to taste the reckless desire he’d been hiding behind his arrogant smirks.

Gia gasped in surprise, intending to push him away, but the moment her mouth parted, Leo took absolute advantage, deepening the kiss with an intensity that made her head spin. A soft, helpless whimper escaped her throat. Her hands, which had risen to push against his bare chest, lost all their strength, her fingers curling tightly into the fabric of his slate-grey shirt instead. She was surrendering, and they both knew it.

Leo let out a low growl, his grip on her jaw tightening as his other hand slid down her waist, gripping her hip with a bruising force to pull her entirely against his lower body. The explicit, rigid heat of his frame pressing into her left no doubt about exactly what he wanted.

Suddenly, a heavy beam of a flashlight cut through the darkness of the terrace, accompanied by the sound of crunching gravel nearby.

"Hey! Who's out there? Campus security, the terrace is off-limits after midnight!" a gruff voice shouted from the gardens below.

Gia broke the kiss, her heart leaping into her throat in pure, suffocating panic. If they were caught like this, if the foundation board found out she was fooling around with the chairman’s son, her scholarship would be revoked instantly. She would be ruined. "Leo, someone's coming," she breathed, her lips wet and tingling, her chest heaving as she tried to pull away.

Instead of backing off, Leo grabbed her waist and pulled her deeper into the pitch-black shadow of a massive concrete pillar, his large body completely shielding her from view. He pressed his front entirely against hers, his hand flying over her mouth to muffle her frantic breathing.

Through the thin fabric of her jeans, she could feel the hard, unyielding ridge of his desire pressing tightly against her thigh. It was an incredibly explicit, dangerous proximity. Every time she took a breath, her chest rubbed against his, sending sparks of raw electricity straight to her core.

The security guard’s footsteps came up the steps, the flashlight beam sweeping across the stone floor, passing just inches from where they stood hidden in the dark alcove. Gia froze, her eyes wide with terror, her body trembling. Leo looked down at her, his eyes dark, heavy, and completely unbothered by the threat of being caught. In fact, a wicked, thrilling smirk touched his lips as he looked at her panic.

He reached into his pocket with his free hand, his knuckles brushing against her thigh as he pulled out his phone. He turned the screen toward her face.

Gia’s breath died completely.

It was a text message sent to his personal device just a minute ago from an encrypted number. The attachment was a crystal-clear photo of the two of them kissing against the railing, shot through the hedges from a low angle. Below the image was a single, chilling sentence: 'Does the Vance Foundation know their top academic scholarship recipient is sleeping her way to the boardroom?'

"We aren't the only ones watching you in the dark, little girl," Leo whispered against her ear, his hand slowly lowering from her mouth as the security guard's footsteps finally faded away. His thumb trailed down her neck, leaving a trail of fire. "Someone wants to destroy you. And the only way your future stays safe... is if you stay with me."

  • Tempting Playboy   The Taunusanlage Vote

The heavy oak doors of the forty-second-floor boardroom slammed shut with a sharp, pneumatic hiss that cut through the low, anxious murmur of forty seated directors. The air inside the room was dense, thick with the smell of old leather, cold filter coffee, brass polish, and the sharp ozone stink of high-capacity server monitors running at maximum power. Outside the floor-to-ceiling glass wall, rain lashed the grey steel framework of the Taunusanlage tower, blurring the banking district below into a smear of concrete and dark glass. At the head of the thirty-foot polished walnut table sat Dr. Heinrich von Berg, Richard Vance’s chief European proxy. He didn't rise when the doors closed. He sat back in his high-backed leather chair, his tailored charcoal suit unbuttoned, his gold fountain pen balanced across his right index finger like a surgeon’s scalpel. His face was pale, smooth, and completely devoid of panic, the posture of a man who had spent thirty years navigating the procedural

The heavy oak doors of the private ante-room on the forty-second floor of the Taunusanlage tower shut with a sharp, pneumatic seal, blocking out the frantic murmur of fifty European press reporters gathered in the marble foyer.Outside the floor-to-ceiling glass, the grey skyline of Frankfurt was swallowed by rain, the financial district towers rising like dark steel monoliths through the mist."They're using Paragraph 108 of the AG statute," Gia said, her voice dry, raspy, and stripped of all composure. She stood beside the heavy walnut conference desk, her dark suit jacket off, her white silk shirt unbuttoned at the collar, her sleeves rolled past her forearms. Her tablet rested flat on the polished wood, the red warning banner pulsing on the BaFin portal screen. "Richard’s proxies filed an emergency motion with the Hessian regional court claiming our dual-tier filing violates the supervisory board quorum rules."Leo stood three feet away by the glass wall, his black wool coat disca

  • Tempting Playboy   The Frankfurt Terminal

The private cabin on the ICE high-speed line between Zurich and Frankfurt hummed with the high-frequency vibration of three hundred kilometers an hour. Rain smeared across the double-paned glass in long, horizontal streaks, blurring the dark shapes of the Black Forest outside into gray static.Gia didn't look at the passing trees. She stood bent over the narrow mahogany desk in the corner of the cabin, her dark suit jacket off, her white silk shirt unbuttoned at the throat. Her fingers moved across the mechanical keyboard of her terminal in sharp, rapid bursts."The Frankfurt registry won't process the dissolution order without the original paper certificate from the Zurich vault," Gia said. Her voice was raspy, thin, and rough from days of shouting over server fans and jet engines. "Richard's lawyers filed an emergency caveat in Hesse ten minutes ago. They're claiming the dual-guarantor override we signed in Bahnhofstrasse was executed under duress."Leo stood in the doorway of the c

"Put the pen down, Leo."The heavy brass mechanical clock on the vault wall clicked twice, its black second hand sweeping past six-forty-eight AM. Twelve minutes before the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority locked the morning registry.Inside sub-level four of Bank von Hauff on Bahnhofstrasse, the air was freezing, smelling of cold gunmetal, polished granite, and old paper. Heavy stainless-steel safety deposit walls stretched twenty feet to the vaulted ceiling. On the central mahogany viewing table sat the heavy steel master box containing the physical European bond deeds.Herr Weber, the bank’s chief vault custodian, stood rigidly by the iron security gate, holding a silver tray with the master key cylinders."The single-guarantor line is a legal requirement under Swiss private banking code," Weber said, his voice flat, dry, and clipped. "If the master box is opened without a primary signatory, the vault mechanism automatically engages the secondary audit lock until Monday

The Falcon 900 dropped forty feet through a mountain draft, its airframe shuddering violently as the storm over the Bernese Alps hit the starboard wing.Inside the narrow, leather-walled main cabin, the red sat-link indicator on the bulkhead console flashed with a harsh, intermittent beep: AIRSPACE ENTRY WARNING - CANTONAL HOLD PENDING.Gia didn't grab the seatbelt strap. She stayed wedged against the edge of the teak work table, her dark grey suit trousers damp from the Le Bourget tarmac, her white silk shirt unbuttoned three studs at her collar. Her dark hair was falling loose from its coil, her face pale under the harsh cabin spotlights as her fingers slammed keys on her diagnostic terminal."Vaduz filed a secondary attachment," Gia said, her raspy voice cutting over the low, heavy whine of the triple engines. "Richard’s Liechtenstein council lodged an emergency flight-interception claim with the Swiss Federal Police at Kloten five minutes ago. They’re alleging illicit physical ins

"Drop the line, Leo."Gia reached across the glass table of the Le Bourget private handling lounge and severed the satellite connection with a single, sharp press of her thumb.Leo’s head snapped up. His face was gray with exhaustion, dark stubble shading his jaw, his black wool coat thrown over the arm of a leather sofa behind him. Outside the floor-to-ceiling glass, rain lashed the tarmac, where two grey French customs vans sat parked six inches from the nose wheel of their Falcon 900."That was the deputy transport minister's private counsel," Leo growled, his gravelly baritone rough as unpolished stone."That was a political solicitation," Gia said flatly. She stood on the rain-slicked marble tiles, her dark suit jacket off, her white silk shirt unbuttoned at the collar, her sleeves rolled to her elbows. "If you pay a
