Chapter 11. The Mother of Silver Werewolves

"Sister Filomena?" I called out as I opened the window.

She looked up and smiled at me, but then the smile on my lips faded when I noticed how bizarre she looked.

"Are you okay?" I questioned while sitting down on the windowsill. I couldn't see her looking like this often, primarily since I'd known her for years. Her hair was unbound, which was unusual for me.

"Sister? Are you okay?" I reiterated, but she didn't respond; instead, she hurled a creepy smile that perplexed me.

"What happened? Come here," I said, motioning her to come over, but then she spun around.

"Wait! Sister!" I called out once more; then I scurried outside the room; soon as I reached downstairs, I bumped into someone's chest and realized it was Alpha Ace.

He quickly grabbed me before I hit the ground from my fall.

"Sorry," I mumbled.

"No, it's fine. What happened to you?" he asked, but his face dropped slightly in amusement after seeing my attire.

His eyes went to the edge of the dress, then moved to my bare arms,
