Naomi sighed, she was still thinking about what just happened. She tried not to think about it, but she couldn't. She didn't concentrate on the character designs that she should send to the client tomorrow afternoon. She leaned back and sighed again, she lifted her head, staring at the ceiling of his house with tired eyes,

Her eyes were baggy because these few days she couldn't sleep. She was doing her freelance work all night long. Not to mention she had to think of the fastest way to pay off her father's debts. Being an only child was tiring and boring because she had to bear everything alone.

Many things happened in her life that had to move a lot because she and her father were trying to stay away from the debts that chased them. This time she was already working, even though she was only a freelancer, she was able to pay off his father's debt little by little.

She had to kneel a few times to the moneylender who lent his father money over and over again and ask for their understanding and mercy. Naomi didn't mind doing it because she couldn't bear to let her father become the target of the moneylender. However, sometimes they can't deny that the collectors can charge them money faster than what was promised.

She groaned tiredly. Where can he get money quickly and instantly? Should she sell herself?

The thought flashed through her mind for a moment and Naomi shook her head quickly. What an insane idea. She chuckled wryly, she didn't want to make the same mistake as she did before. She used to be very innocent and believed in the word of love.

But she wasn't longer a labile teenager, now she is an adult at the age of 28 years. She has felt her bitter life experience and it makes her feel she doesn't have any time to feel love anymore.

Naomi decided to tidy up her equipment and chose to slam herself on her mattress which was no longer soft. She was very tired, maybe she should sleep early tonight and wake up early the next day to continue her work.

Naomi has done her best in her life, but her problems were not over. It was her fate to live like this and he was too tired to complain. Complaining will only cloud her mood and thoughts about her life situation.

Her cell phone vibrated. She groaned lazily before she got up and took her cell phone to her desk. She threw herself back into his bed and started to put her phone to her right ear.

“Hey… What’s up?”

Naomi frowned and looked at her phone screen. He thought it was the moneylenders who were calling her who would collect his father's debt. If that was true, she would have to put on her sad expression, begging the moneylender to give her time and understand her situation. However, she rolled her eyes as soon as she heard who was calling her. Quickly, she put the phone back to his right ear,

"Gosh! I thought you were someone else," said Naomi while patting her forehead,

"Hahaha, who do you think? Debt collectors?" 

Naomi laughed, "I do think like that," she stated with her dry chuckle,

"Oh yeah, what's wrong? What makes you call me at this time?" she asked her big cousin.

"Naomi, there is a vacancy, do you want to try it or not?" that woman asked her in such a seductive tone.

She smiled happily, "Wow, what is it?" she asked enthusiastically,

“In my office, a senior 3D artist is needed. Are you interested?" said the woman, making Naomi immediately get up and sit on her bed. Incidentally, she needed a job with a definite salary for her. She was enthusiastic, but it was only for a while. Her face went flat and sad after that, 

"But it is for senior... I don't have any experience working in that field," said Naomi with a frown and pessimism. Seira understand her situation and she tried to cheer her up. "It's okay, you just have to try. You're used to freelance, you can enter it as your experience. The important thing is that your CV is good. If your CV is good, you have a chance to be accepted..." Seira said while looking at the nails she had just colored. Naomi sounded very enthusiastic. With a meaningful smile, she quickly agreed to Seira's offer.

Seira is a cousin of Naomi. The two of them were very close as if they were siblings. Seira also helped Naomi's family a lot once they went bankrupt. Both Seira and her husband were very kind and nice to Naomi's family and their relationship was still strong to this day, even though many other siblings have chosen to leave Naomi and her father since they went bankrupt.

"How's the procedure? Is there any interview?” asked Naomi who started to get up from her bed and immediately opened her laptop again,

"Of course. You just have to send your CV to the email which I will send to you later. We will look at your CV later, if it is interesting, you will be called for an interview. Oh yes, the deadline for collection is this Friday," Naomi was surprised, why does it look so rushed? Naomi almost screamed, “Friday?! Gosh, why are you in such a hurry?"

“Because we need it fast, our CEO also wants it fast. After we end our conversation, you have to work on your CV, make it interesting, okay..."

"Okay, I get it," said Naomi, nodding.

"But the assessment is based on CV and interview, don't expect me to accept you because you are my cousin. It's our decision, okay?" she reminded Naomi again. 

"Okay, I understand!" said Naomi, before Seira closed their conversation. When their conversation ended, Naomi immediately worked on the CV that she had to send. Her smile was still etched clearly, even she couldn't stop herself from smiling. Finally, after looking for an opportunity to work for a long time, she got this news.

Previously, she had worked in a shipping company as an admin. Unfortunately, after she worked for 4 years, the company went bankrupt and she did not get any severance pay. Later then, she looked for several companies, but again she was laid off by another company. Until finally she decided to become a freelancer. She did a lot of work such as doing 3D Layout, 3D Modeling and sometimes she designs 2D animated characters.

Naomi decided to do some finishing on some of the characters that she had created before to be later on she included in her CV.

It was already 1 p.m. Her initial intention to go to bed early failed because she had to update her old CV with some experiences she worked on when she was freelance and also she improved her products.

In between the work, she stretched her body for a moment before she continued the CV that was waiting for her to finish.

In her heart, she hopes that all her efforts and experiences can make her accepted in this company, especially since this was a hobby that she had buried when she worked in another company. Naomi didn't want to waste this opportunity, she didn't even give her body time to rest for a moment.

As soon as possible, she must finish this CV.
