Zac’s POV

The father that I have grown up with is a far cry from my biological father. Thomas Oliver is an honest farmer who supported his family with whatever he made in the ranch and from the garden that he and our mother had carefully tended.

We grew up eating farm fresh produce and scraped our knees running away from him whenever we are in trouble, because Thomas is a huge fan of discipline. We grew up dreading lies and cutting classes because we fear beatings. He is a huge man but he has a very soft heart and that is why my brothers and I loved him and mom.

And here is the deal, I just learned that I have a different set of parents and that I am not a pure bred human, turns out I am like a real life Hercules. The only sad part is--Hercules died. I was transported like a bag of beans through and from the underworld. I met one of my uncles and there is one more down at sea.
