"Papa!" Austin saw him first.

Austin launched himself off the chair. He ran to Zane, wrapping his arms around his legs.

Zane knelt. "Hey, buddy. I'm sorry I'm late."

"Mama forgot again," Austin said. It wasn't accusatory. It was just a fact.

Selene walked over more slowly. She hugged Zane's arm.

"Mrs. Blackwood stayed with us," she said. "Maya's mom. She bought us ice cream."

Zane looked over their heads. Nerissa was still seated. Maya was beside her, playing with the spoon.

I think Jovi has never been nerissa’s friend because there is an underlying dislike there. I hope she doesn’t do anything to hurt maya or nerissa because she is conniving and bitter because she isn’t a rich lady any more. Zane made the biggest mistake of his life when he had an affair with that woma

  • The Affair Revenge My Bestfriend's Husband Offered Me   Thank You My Dear Readers

Guys...I still can't believe it.This book is finally complete, and I have received so much love and support from all of you. Thank you. Truly, thank you from the bottom of my heart. To be honest, this is the very first standalone novel I've written that has achieved this level of success after years of writing. That means more to me than I can put into words. In the past, I mostly wrote stories simply to bring my imagination to life. I never really stopped to think about what readers wanted to read. But this novel was different. It was the first time I tried to understand the market while still telling a story I genuinely loved.Of course, it isn't as successful as the books written by top authors, but I hope this is the beginning of something bigger. Every chapter, every comment, every vote, and every gift you've given me has encouraged me to keep believing in this dream. Many of you have asked me to continue the Blackwood universe and write Maya's story.Honestly...I love that ide

The boardroom of Horizon Global was silent.Vance stood before a wall-sized screen. "...and that concludes our five-year expansion strategy."The directors nodded. One by one. Then—His phone vibrated.Nerissa.He smiled faintly. Probably another adorable picture. He opened the message with one click. The room fell silent as they watched their CEO's expression slowly change. On the screen...Luna climbed a door. Crossed a wall. Reached the cabinet. Then Noah calmly built a harness.Then...Together...The siblings lifted Ethan into the cabinet."I'm flying!"The video ended.Nerissa wrote a caption below, "Your children."Vance replayed it. Then replayed it again.Without saying a word...He picked up his suit jacket. The vice chairman frowned. "Mr. Blackwood?""I need to leave.""Sir... is everything all right?"Vance looked at the frozen image of his three smiling children inside the cabinet. "...No.""They've developed coordinated climbing tactics."Silence."...I'm sorry?""My four

Morning sunlight spilled across the gardens of Blackwood Manor. For the first time in months, the mansion was unusually quiet. William and Lily had finally agreed to take a long-awaited vacation together. They had left before sunrise after promising to send Maya postcards from every city they visited.Maya herself had already gone to school. Vance had went to the office and working now.Leaving...Only Nerissa. The staff. And three very energetic four-year-olds.The family room echoed with laughter.Luna sprinted across the carpet wearing a toy cape. "I'm climbing the mountain!""There isn't a mountain," Noah replied without looking up from the enormous tower of magnetic blocks he was constructing."There is." She pointed dramatically toward the sofa."It just looks different."Ethan immediately jumped onto the sofa cushions. "I'm the dragon!""No, you're supposed to guard the mountain.""I changed my mind." He roared anyway.Nerissa laughed as she watched them.Every single day, the h

**Three days later**The old playpen had been replaced by a much larger padded play area, surrounded by sturdy baby fences nearly twice as tall as the old ones.He walked around it twice. Checked every latch. Pulled gently against every panel.Satisfied, he folded his arms. "There."William raised an eyebrow. "Confident?"Vance nodded."Unless one of them suddenly learns to fly...they're staying inside."Lily smiled. "We'll see."The triplets adjusted surprisingly quickly. The new space was filled with soft climbing cushions, tunnels, building blocks, and stuffed animals.Luna immediately tested every corner of the fence. She pressed both hands against it. Shook it. Tried climbing it.Nothing.She frowned. Then tried again. Still nothing.Vance watched proudly. "Victory."Nerissa looked at Luna's determined expression. "I wouldn't celebrate yet."For almost a week...Peace returned. No more surprise visitors in Maya's bedroom. No more disappearing babies. No mysterious adventures.Ever

The afternoon was unusually quiet. After lunch, the mansion settled into its familiar rhythm. William had retreated to his study. Lily was helping the kitchen staff prepare snacks. The triplets had finally fallen asleep after exhausting themselves playing all morning. Or so everyone thought.Vance stretched his shoulders. "I think we survived."Nerissa laughed. "Barely."Three little heads rested peacefully inside the large playpen set in the middle of the family room. Soft blankets covered the floor. Stuffed animals surrounded them. Luna slept on her stomach. Ethan had somehow rolled halfway across the playpen until one foot rested on Noah's blanket.Noah... was still hugging the same wooden puzzle piece he'd refused to let go of all morning.Nerissa smiled. "They're adorable when they're sleeping.""They're dangerous when they're awake."She nudged Vance lightly with her elbow. "They're one.""They can't possibly be that dangerous."Nerissa only smiled. "You'll see."Meanwhile, Maya

Morning sunlight poured through the floor-to-ceiling windows of the Blackwood mansion, filling the living room with a warm golden glow. The room no longer resembled the elegant space featured in architecture magazines. The expensive Persian rug had disappeared beneath a colorful battlefield of stuffed animals, wooden blocks, picture books, rattles, and soft cushions.A large play mat occupied almost the entire center of the room. William Blackwood stood in the doorway with his morning newspaper tucked beneath one arm. He surveyed the scene for a long moment. Then he sighed. "My living room..."Lily walked past him carrying a basket of freshly folded baby clothes. "Our living room."William looked around once more. One year ago, no one had dared leave a toy on the floor.Now...There was an entire plush giraffe sitting on top of a priceless antique coffee table. He looked toward his grandson. "...I suppose we've lost."Lily laughed. "We surrendered months ago."In the middle of the play
