Everywhere was soaked in green. Even the air. It oozed of the scent of herbs.

I got out of the car, which was something I'd looked forward to since the journey began. Not just because my bones ached, but also the car had been suffocating in the figurative sense of it, and till now, I couldn't explain how or why I was subject to guilt.
