The door to my room was shut with such force that I could feel the walls shaking as a means of aftereffects.

"What had your panties in a twist?"

I muttered under my breath as I flipped to the next page.

"You!" My beta snapped at me as if I am the reason behind his distress. But Alex acting out like the drama queen he was was something I was a little too used to.

"What did I do now?"

"Did you really have to say all of that to the poor girl?" He plopped down on the chair across from me with a huff.

"What exactly are we talking about?" I played oblivious to it even though I knew what exactly he was referring to. "And who's the poor girl in the question?"

"Sera… who else?" He gave me that look which screamed at me to stop with the act.

Though it was another story that it had zero effect on me. I was, after all, his alpha. "What about her?"
