Hospital

'One year Later'.

"Bae! I think we need to rest now, it's already getting late!". Merritt said while snuggling towards her husband Franklin.

"Yeah, you have to rest my love!". Franklin said while patting his wife's head.

She closed her eyes and quickly drifted into sleep.

Franklin stares at his wife's beautiful face before smiling. As the reflection of the moon kissed her face, his wife Merritt became more beautiful and adorable.

Franklin was still admiring the beauty of his wife when he realized that something seemed off.

Merritt was frowning in her sleep and she seemed to be struggling for her life.

She was sweating all over her body, even though the air conditioner in the room was working very fine.

"Love, are you alright?". Franklin asked while trying to wake his wife up. "Love please wake up!". Franklin pleaded with an audible voice.

"Ahh!!". Merritt screamed while rising from the bed. "Franklin, please help me…... I'm in pain!". Merritt said while biting her lower lips, as she made sure that she doesn't scream so loud to draw the attention of others.

"Love you in…….".

Franklin couldn't complete his statement because his wife nodded her head.

"Hang in there Love. Everything is going to be alright!". Franklin said while getting up from the bed, as he turn on the bedside light.

Merritt is already due for nine months and two weeks. She's currently pregnant, and right now……. She's at the edge of giving birth.

Franklin quickly grabbed his phone and dialed the number of his doctor.

"Hello, doctor……. Merritt is in labor!". Franklin said while feeling nervous.

"Ohh!. Please kindly rush her to the hospital, so that we can help her out!". The doctor said, and Franklin nodded his head, like if the doctor could see him.

"Mister Franklin, you have to breathe in and out Okay, because your wife needs you!". The doctor added and Franklin managed to nod his head before hanging up.

Franklin kept his phone in his pocket before running towards his wife.

"Love we are going to get through this Okay!". Franklin said to his wife while assisting her to stand up from the bed.

Merritt placed her right leg on the floor and cried out in pain because it felt as if she stepped on shattered pieces of glass.

"Hang in there…… I'll grab the wheelchair!". Franklin said before running away, as he turned on the light of the entire room, but hold and behold the wheelchair wasn't in the room.

"We left it at the hospital Love!". Franklin uttered out with a low voice, before walking towards his wife.

His wife wasn't shouting very loud, and Franklin is aware that the only reason she restrained herself from shouting was because of him.

Franklin was nervous and confused about what to do.

"Climb on me!". Was the next word that left Franklin's mouth.

"Arrhhhh!......... Arrhhhh……. O My God!!". Merritt yelled while pushing Franklin away because she couldn't hold in the sharp pain anymore.

"Franklin please……. I'm going to die if you keep on behaving like this!". Merritt said while placing her hands on her abdomen.

Franklin nodded his head, and grabbed Merritt to carry her princess style……. But it was Damm unless because she needed her legs to be opened.

Franklin had no other option, but to assist her in walking.

"Come on Love……. Just one more step to go!". Franklin said while assisting his wife to raise her legs.

She was Damm screaming and at the same time yelling, like if she's about to die anytime soon.

"Hang in there love!". Franklin said to Merritt.

They both manage to leave the house and luckily for Franklin…… His driver was around.

He cursed himself for not yelling that someone should help him out.

"Drive us to the hospital right now!". Franklin said with an authoritative voice, and with that, the driver quickly accelerated the car engine as he drove away.

Merritt was lying down on the passenger seat, while all that Franklin could do was shower her with sweet praises because that's the only thing that he can offer right now.

"Hang in there love…… you are going to make it!". Franklin said while caressing his wife's hand.

"You are going to get through it!". Franklin said as he uses his mouth to produce a breeze, before blowing it on his wife.

"Ahhh…… love I think I'm going to die. I'm already weak, and my eyes are hurting me!". Merritt said while closing her eyes tight.

"Please drive faster!". Franklin said to the driver, before turning around to stare at his wife.

"You are going to make it. You and my baby are going to make it. okay!". Franklin said with an audible voice, causing his wife that's in pain to nod her head.

"I love you, Merritt, so please be strong for me okay!". Franklin said, but the next thing that Franklin saw was the water that just burst out of his wife's body.

"I think my water just burst out love!". Merritt said while crying.

"Love please be strong for me!". Franklin said while crying.

He couldn't bear the fact that his wife is going through so much pain, because of the seed he implanted inside of her.

"Franklin you need to be strong because of me okay!. I know that you are going to make it, so hang in there okay!". Merritt said.

Franklin quickly remembered what the doctor told him some weeks back about when a lady is in labor.

The doctor said that the lady would start acting and behaving crazy, which is exactly what his wife is doing.

Since her water has just burst, Franklin becomes more scared because he doesn't know what to do.

He cursed himself for getting her pregnant in the first place, and he swore that if his wife can successfully get out of this one alive……. Then he would make sure that she doesn't pass through such stress again.

"Merritt!. You are doing great, so please don't shut your eyes for too long!". Franklin said, which causes his wife to force her eyes open.

"Boss we are here!". The driver said while declaring that they have successfully reached the hospital.
