Maya's POV.

The healer sniffled. His scent filtering into my nose as he neared me.

“Your wolf, she is more awake than she was yesterday.” He noted.

I felt my cheeks heat up. “Well…”

His hands scraped the surface of my new imprint, pain burned inside me, I hissed loudly, startled away.

His eyes widened with excitement and smiles, “You've been marked. There is hope for the children.”

“Yes. I had been.”

Only, he didn't know how crazy the process had to be. Williams might have fu'cked the day light out of me three rounds before his wolf decided to mark me.

Melissa couldn't stop moving with joy inside. She stirred and turned, jumping with excitement as she could finally feel the mateship bond.

I on the other hand couldn't feel my legs.

I mean, I could but they wiggled too much and the space between was sore.
