Chapter 55: Why aren’t you telling her she’s your Fated Mate?
“Yo. Cillian. Wake up. Shit. I think we trashed the place last night. I don’t think your uncle James will be happy about this mess. Damn, is that smell coming from you? You reek of moonshine, bro.” Gunner’s voice tremble inside my ear drums and it’s giving me a massive headache.
I’m slumped on the couch. I open on eye to peek and look around where I’m at.
The cottage. Thanks, goddess. Not at some brothel or pub where I’d regret doing stuff that I didn’t think through.
“What the fuck, man. Dial your voice down, will ya? That’s the both of us reeking like moonshine. You drank more than I did last night. Kayleigh “Are you sure about your plans?” Husky voice breaks the stillness as he wraps his muscular arms around me from behind. “I am very sure. One hundred percent sure. Your place is nice and cozy but we gotta go back to Ireland soon.” I tilt my head to give him access to my neck. My arms are coiled around Andrei’s neck without worry of doing anything wrong or hurting anyone. Definitely a dream. But I don’t want to wake up just yet. I want to see how this dream plays out.
