"Vivian!" Hazel called.

Vivian stopped walking, turning around to face Hazel. Her lips curved into a smile, tightening her grip around Grey.

"I've been looking all over for you," said Hazel, trying to catch her breath. She had been looking for Vivian for hours now. She had clearly told her to stay put in her room but like always she chose not to listen to her.

"I felt suffocated," Vivian rolled her eyes, caressing Grey's fur. She had no idea what happened in the last two days and why Hazel and Styx had become so protective of her. She had tried several times to ask them but they both refused to give her an explanation and she had grown tired and frustrated.
