“What a mess you have become in what? Five days?” Roy’s voice pierced through my thickly layered thoughts.

My eyelids flickered as I took my eyes off the plain wall I had been staring at for how long? Five days? There’s no way it’s been five days. Right?

“Relax, Xalen.” Roy laughed when he noticed my face. “It’s just been two days, but that’s more than enough for you to pull your shit together.”
