Laura's POV.

My heart clenched painfully when he walked away, everything he said became clearer to me, he said I would regret being his mate, now I understand, I wished he would reject me, that would be better for me.

I didn't want to go through pain again, I was so unlucky with mates, I kept having ones I couldn't stand.

I swallowed when I heard the room door open, he walked in staring at me with no emotions, he looked like he had a mission.

He stalked me smiling, a smile that didn't reach his eyes. I wonder what he was up to."I actually have a place to go, so if you would like it, you can join me outside." He said and I nodded.

I still felt nervous, but yet I followed him out of his room, my heart beat faster, I didn't want to upset him after this display.

I was still confused as to why he wouldn't reject me, but he hated me.
