MAURIS POV.

"You are not just a cousin, you are like a brother to me." I said as I placed my hand gently on his shoulder, I felt Kylie's already tensed body relax as he turned around to look me in the eye. We've been friends for way too long that our bond had become that of brothers that even his terrible relationship with my father could not break.

The waiter that took our order earlier on returned, pushing the food forward on a table with wheels. The moment we spotted him, we took our seats immediately as we had a reputation to maintain and didn't want him to catch on to the misunderstanding we once had. Rumours spread like wildfire here in Darkwood.

Kylie was the first to start eating his meal while Oma and I watched him, when it was obvious that he wasn't angry anymore, we dug into our lunch.

One of the signature meals on the menu here at bogue, is the pasta dish, introduced by one of the Mexican chefs, it would always remain my favorite so I knew what I was going to order eve
