Dante, point of view...

After she told me that she didn’t know how to be my mate, something just woke up inside me. Liam sped up, and began to desire to kiss her, mark her, and possess the body of our beautiful mate.

I wanted to tempt her to be the one to kiss me. I positioned myself on top of her.

I was breathing her very air, her breathing was very fast, and I could hear how fast her heart was beating, just from this contact.

I placed my lips very close to hers, but without touching, she blushed completely, and closed her eyes.

Liam wanted to bite and devour those pretty pink lips, but I pulled away, got up from her, and went to my desk, Liam was upset with me for what I did, but my plan was for her to be the one who wanted that moment, that kiss, to be mine.

She sat back down on the couch, a little nervous. I just watched her coldly. I didn’t want to show her that I did feel like kissing her.

“Are you ok? You look a little nervous,” I tell her, a little serious.

She looked at me, a little confused.

“Yeah, why did you do that? Is that what you do with all your gourds?” she tells me with some disappointment.

“You can only have one mate for the rest of our lives, that woman will be our only Luna, the head of our pack, she complements our being, without her a wolf has no balance, the pack would have no balance, if a wolf’s mate dies, that wolf would be a solitary wolf for the rest of its existence,” I answer her with a lot of sincerity, since apparently, she believes that I am an inveterate womanizer, something that before I found her I was, but I always respected this house, I never wanted to bring any other woman to this place, only my mate.

“Wow, I didn’t know that. I don’t really know anything about wolves. When I was a child, I always played the role of a pet among wolves, vampires and witches,” she tells me about her life, a bit nervous.

“That will never happen again, the wolf, vampire or witch, who dares to disrespect you, I will rip his head off,” I told her with a lot of anger, how dare they mistreat my mate, if she is as sweet, cute and delicate as the petals of a flower.

She looked at me with eyes like saucers.

“That wolf you became, is he Liam? With him, you could rip the head off anyone,” she answered me, a little scared.

That got a smile out of me.

I loved that everyone knew I was the stronger one.

“Yeah cutie, don’t worry, Liam can do that and more, but only if people I know deserve it, we don’t do it just because, I’ve never liked killing without justification,” I answer him as sincerely as I can.

“Does your whole pack live in this place?” He asks me, a little calmer. I know because I can hear his heartbeat.

“Yes, all my herd lives here, this is my territory, only they live outside this land, when you cross the main gate, the surroundings is full of my herd, there is the school, a small exchange market, a small clinic to cure sick people, then a party square, where we do all the important meetings, or birthdays, and around are the houses,” I tell her very happy, my herd was not very big because of old wars between clans, but it was very powerful.

“Will I ever be able to go out to see your herd? Will they treat me well? I just realized that this lady named Lirio hates me,” she asks me, a little uneasy, while wiggling her fingers.

“They won’t hate you, when they know you are their Moon, they will love you, but to introduce you with them, I must first make you my wife, I don’t want to have problems for not having marked you,” I answer her with sincerity, since it is a very delicate subject for my pack, my mate will be the first human to become my pack’s moon.

Adam knocked on the office door.

“Come in, Adam, you can come in,” I tell him seriously.

Adam walked into the office.

“Alpha is the food served in the dining room. I wanted to inform you that your parents are coming this weekend to visit,” He informs me.
