  Some hours later, the sun was going down and Sian returned to the Castle, heading straight the halls were Conroy sat on his throne. The joint effort of the she-wolves, guards and the sole Dhampir that Fehr brought with him cleared the halls, the blood soaked tapestries beat down, washed and then hung. The castle was soon back in its original shape, only some flagons were missing, which did not go unnoticed by Sian’s sharp gaze.

  She bowed in greeting

  Clearing his throat, the wolf king said, “Shouldn’t you be with your pack, preparing for the mating ceremony.”

  Sian threw Conroy a strange look, “I am with my pack, about to start the preparation for the ceremony.”
