CHAPTER seventy-six: Tailing the spy

  Sian, red with anger walked of the chambers she had once made love in with Arian, her skin crawling with disgust. Sucking in a deep breath, she took the stairs to the kitchen in quick hasty steps.

  She bumped into Ursa on her way and scowled at her, “Do you mind?”

  “My apologies, Beta Luna Sian.” She muttered, her eyes sad.

  Sian bit back her irritation as her eyes filled with concern, “What is the matter?”

  “Ian got hurt while the Vampire queen bitch was on a rage this morning.” She confided, her eyes stodgy with tears.

  Sian’s brows furrowed, “Ian?”

  Ursa shrugged, “He is not my mate but he is my beloved and he is human, he won’t heal from the injuries inflicted easily, he is in so much pain and I can only watch him.”

  Sian has never seen the rude gamma this humbled and sad, so she gave a light hug, “He would be fine. He has you beside him nurturing him back to full health.”

  “My gratitude,” She muttered and looked down, hiding the water dropping from her eyes to her folded
