“How long do you plan on ignoring me, Cassius?” Zenya’s snarky voice drew the final line at my patience.

I sighed and looked up at the Beta woman who had been trying to get my attention.

It’s been an hour since she got here, and I thought she would get the message that I didn’t want her here, but unfortunately, she’d been adamant about staying and wrecking my focus.

Her piercing green eyes watched me with irk, and if I sensed correctly, the look was clouded by her deep annoyance, a want for my attention.
