Chapter 26 - Her scent wasn't supposed to be this strong
His lips touched hers.
How could a touch so soft, so barely there, be so wonderful? Lilith thought.
He wasn’t even kissing her. It was just his mouth against hers, light as a whisper.
Yet, sparks, lots of them flared up, shooting through her like a blazing hot wire.
She was being controlled by the mate bond, she realized. She pushed at his chest, forcing him to pull away.
She fought the urge to touch her lips. They were still tingling.
If a peck sent so much pleasure coursing through her, what would a real kiss feel like?
Would she be able to stop herself if they had kissed?
She trembled in fear when she noted she probably wouldn’t have been able to stop herself.
“The next time I catch you trying to run away, you will be punished.” Blaze whispered into her ear, his lips brushing against her earlobe.

Blaze opened his eyes and squinted into the blazing sun-light burning through the last of the morning fog. A tumbled mass of loosely curled long dark hair was spread over half of his pillow.
