Blaze couldn’t stop Bash from taking in another lungful of her enticing scent which consumed them whole.
Noticing something absurd, Lilith’s heart skipped a beat in nervousness as she took in the stiffness in Blaze’s body.His eyes were wide and already shifting from silver to blue.Lilith watched as panic flashed across Blaze’s face for just a second before his body acted, slouching in pain and letting out a little groan of frustration.The light hairs on the skin of his arm all stood straight.His next exhale came with a slight shake, head slowly turning away from Lilith.He fisted his hands. A knock sounded on the door. Lilith got up from the window seat after flipping the opened book she was reading upside down. Blaze was just about to step outside the pack’s boundaries when he sensed something wrong.
