HILDA'S POV

"Are you out of your mind?" My mum asked, looking at me with wide eyes as if I had just spoken something that should never be uttered.

"But mum," I insisted. "I am only going there to check how she is doing, and also to make sure that she is not bringing a bad name to our family and kingdom."

"Well... That is not something you should worry about, my dear Hilda." My father said, placing a hand on my shoulder. "After all, Alpha Moses said she is doing well, so we should not be bothered."

I narrowed my eyes as I remembered Alpha Moses's smile when he had talked about Matilda, and that kept appearing in my mind and got me even more pissed. I felt like shouting at my parents that instant, but I decided to keep my cool, I had to keep pretending to be the perfect child, while they see Matilda as the bad child.

"But we can't count on his words' dad, he could easily have said that for whatever reason," I said calmly with a droopy body.
