Catching Up

I was still sad about missing Halloween. I listened to Jackson recount telling me about what happened during Halloween as I flipped through the photos on my phone. It looked like they all had so much fun. I looked up at Jackson and ran my fingers through his hair. I wish he had stayed longer and actually enjoyed himself, but I don’t think I would be able to either if I was in his position.

Jackson lifted me up and set me on top of his desk. He wrapped his arms around my waist and looked up at me with sad blue eyes. “I’m sorry I wasn’t there when you woke up. Vael said it was important to Sage’s spell that it was just her and Lyrie there.” He explained.

I leaned down and kissed his forehead. I felt his hands move to my bare thighs, since I was only put on a purple sundress after my shower, no shoes and a simple ponytail. I really wanted to see him and didn’t want to bother doing anything else. “It’s okay. We are together now.” I smiled at him.
