Chapter Forty-Two

Layla POV

Sneaking out of the bathroom, I look for Nathan; he isn't inside. Feeling exhausted from the emotional roller coaster of the last few days, I crawl into bed and fall asleep.

I wake slowly, not wanting to leave the dream.
