We left Danny alone with Louis so he could talk to Thomas. The plan was to bring him here as soon as possible.
I wanted to get Thale away from Danny. He was barely containing his rage and I could feel the tension radiating off him. I also needed to fix this between us. Just like the last time, I sensed her. The familiar scent hit me, along with the memory of her gentle smile.
