“What gives you the impression that I would marry you?! I just told you I am not a virgin!" I challenged, meeting Zander's gaze with defiance, but my heart fluttered in my chest, and I didn't know what was in those blue eyes, but I had to look away to break the spell he was casting on me. The thought made me so scared.

“I am sorry on her behalf.” My father quickly apologized, and I looked up at him.

“No. I will never marry him.” I repeated, listening to my heart ramming against my ribcage. The man in front of me is a devil, and my life would be hell in his castle. This was a nightmare I never imagined.

Zander Blake was silent. His indifferent expression made it hard to read what was going on in his mind. I had heard that his hot temper was as uncontrollable as a raging fire, and his beast, when given a chance, had no limit.

My father grabbed my arm, forcefully pulling me a bit far away from Alpha King, Zander Blake. I tried to free my hand, but my father's grip only tightened, leading me further away.

His slap left me stunned for a moment before he whispered in a hushed voice, “You have to do this for our pack’s sake. And don’t make me go any rougher on you, you ungrateful daughter.”

“But Father…” I muttered, holding my cheek, my ear still buzzing from the hard impact as my cheek throbbed. “He’ll kill me when I can’t give him an heir. He’s impotent.”

I have heard stories.

“Don't you even care about this pack at all? It will be more disastrous to go against his order. He chose you, and you have no other option!” My father hissed.

“Enough, Alpha Albert,” snapped a man in a sharp blue suit, his voice edged with authority and impatience as he approached. “Our Alpha’s patience has run out. The deal is done, sealed.”

He stared at me, eyes narrowing. “So what’s the delay? Tell your daughter to come forward and sign the papers—make it official. She becomes Alpha Zander’s wife.”

A pause. His voice turned cold.

“Or be ready for war.”

“Beta Maddox, we’ll be right back,” my father said, his tone softening as he spoke in a pleading voice. “Just give us a few more moments, please.”

Beta Maddox nodded curtly before leaving us alone again. Then, my father turned to me once more.

"Selena, you know this is the only way to save our pack. Otherwise, no one can save us from his wrath," he grumbled, his voice filled with frustration and desperation.

"No, Father. Please! Don't do this to me,” I protested, trying to make him understand my fears.

The story of Zander’s cruelty and inhumanity was famous worldwide.

"Selena, you are a curse on our family already, as you were born wolfless. I am ashamed to even call you my daughter. But, at least now, you're going to be useful to us. You have to marry him," he scowled, his face contorting with irritation as he looked at me.

He grabbed my hand and dragged me harshly along. My head hung low, the weight of my fate pressing down on me. I realized my future had already been decided—and there was nothing I could do to change it.

With tears brimming in my eyes, I moved to the table in front of Zander, staring at the paper with dread. I was about to seal my terrible fate, and there seemed to be no escape.

As I signed the paper, I caught a glimpse of Zander's eyes as they narrowed slightly, but his face remained frigid.

“You are now officially Alpha Zander’s new wife, and our new Luna,” Beta Maddox announced, grinning brightly—but my heart knew I was doomed.

An omega brought some suitcases. “Here’s your stuff, Selena,” she said quietly.

“That’s good, because we’re leaving immediately,” Beta Maddox announced, and my eyes lifted to him.

“Our Alpha doesn’t have time—he has more important matters to attend to. So please hurry, Luna,” he added, his tone respectful but firm.

I looked helplessly at my father, then at my new husband, but neither of them showed a trace of empathy.

Accepting my fate, I walked forward. Every step felt heavy with fear and sorrow, while my heart bled with betrayal.

I didn’t head back to the pack house. Instead, I went straight to the security base, where my top-skilled team was constantly working to make our defenses impenetrable.“Freya,” I called out to the pack’s royal witch. She was young but brilliant, combining her magical abilities with modern tech like no one else could. “Did you find anything about that mysterious woman from the security footage?”“Yes, Alpha,” she replied, walking over to the large glass screen on the wall. She tapped on it a few times, swiping through the data until the footage appeared. She played the portion where the woman had shown up in my defense, then froze the frame and zoomed in.“Look at this,” she said, pointing to the image. My eyes locked onto the beautiful woman in the still frame, and I couldn’t look away. Even in a photo, she held my attention like no one ever had.“She has unusual energy surrounding her,” Freya added, drawing my attention to the faint, glowing aura around the woman—the same woman who

*Zander*Why was there so much darkness everywhere that I couldn’t see a thing? I rubbed my eyes and blinked, trying to adjust, but it was useless. Spinning around, I searched desperately for a glimmer of light, for any sign of illumination, but there was nothing—just an endless void.Suddenly, a gust of wind rushed past me, forcing me to lift my arm to shield my eyes. The air was so powerful it pushed me back a step, but as it calmed slightly, I lowered my arm and glimpsed something—a faint glow ahead. There she was.A mysterious woman stood bathed in soft, otherworldly light."Hey! Who are you?" I shouted, trying to move closer to her, but the relentless wind resisted every step, pushing me back as if trying to keep me away. Then it hit me. Her eyes. Those eyes. I woke up in my bed, panting and breathing heavily. My heart raced so fast that I could feel it pounding in my ears. What was that I just saw? Was it another vision? And what did it mean?Sitting on the bed with my legs bent and knees pulled close to my chest, I rested my arms on them, trying to steady myself. When I arrived at the pack house, the first thing I did was ask for Austin. Guilt gnawed at me for not giving him the time he deserved, especially when his mother was no longer in this world. But the weight of my responsibilities as the Alpha King left me with little choice. I had to protect the entire werewolf community from the growing threats of the dark alpha and the vampire, Damon. My mother told me that Blair had put Austin to bed after ensuring he’d finished his dinner. I didn’t ask about Alpha Albert and Anne, but my mother mentioned they had left earlier in the evening as Alpha Albert had some urgency in his pack. I didn’t press further and made my way to my room. After a warm shower and changing into fresh clothes, I sat by the window, letting the cool night air soothe my restless mind. My gaze shifted to the moon, its soft light casting a calming glow. But as I stared at it, something strange happened—it felt like the moon turned into a mirror, reflecting the face of that m

*Zander*“Who are you?!” I called out, still confused by the sudden appearance of that beautiful woman in the middle of the battlefield. She had helped me when I was all alone fighting those bloodthirsty vampires, but before I could get a proper look or a response, she vanished into thin air. It was as if she had never been there at all.I stared at the empty space where she had stood, my mind racing. Was I imagining things? My thoughts were cut short when a vampire lunged at me from the side. I barely dodged in time, his claws missing me by inches. Grabbing his neck, I twisted hard, the sharp crack of bone echoing in the chaos. Without pausing, I tore his body apart and tossed the pieces in opposite directions, ensuring he wouldn’t get back up.“Alpha!” Maddox’s voice called out, snapping me back to reality.“Are you okay?” he asked as he approached, his face tight with concern.I took a quick look around.
