Chapter 37- Emma

I knew when I got the call from Wren’s boss that she had disappeared from work that Alpha Valen had found her. I had my suspicions that he would eventually come for her not because he cared about Wren but because he wouldn't want to risk being cursed by the moon goddess. Alpha Supremes tend to be superstitious. They don’t want to risk losing their title and all the power that comes with it.

When I first found Wren wandering the natural city, I thought she was just another omega who ran from their pack looking for a better life. She wouldn't be the first I found, and she won’t be the last. Wren clearly stood out from most of the omegas I take in. She was dressed nicely, she had a duffle bag filled with nice clothes, and she had money. Most omegas are lucky they got away with the clothes on their back.

Wren piqued my interest. Maybe she came from a wealthy pack which she did, but nothing shocked me more when she eventually confessed she was the fated mate of her Alpha Supreme. Not jus
