Aeliana's POV

By the next day at dawn, Jolene was already waiting in the training barn before the sun fully rose. The training barn has been restored to its original state. There is no trace of candles or anything else that wasn't supposed to be there.

"We have five days before the excursion of our plan," she said. "We have to use this five days to train you and make you more in tune with your wolf."

She gestured to the mat. "Sit."

I sat.

"Firstly you need to understand that your wolf isn't your enemy. She's not trying to destroy you. She's trying to survive, just like you are. Until you understand that, you'll keep fighting her instead of working with her."

"I know that already."

"Knowing and believing are different things." Jolene's eyes were sharp. "You still flinch every time she rises and still panic when you feel her pushing forward. That fear? That's what's making everything worse."

She had a point.

"So what do I do?"

"You stop fearing her. You invite her in." Jolene s

  • The Alpha's Forgotten Mate   Chapter 147

Aeliana's POVBy one hour and thirty minutes later, Sienna begins hemorrhaging blood from her nose and eyes, which is normal for integration trauma but looks terrifying anyway. The entity Seven is anchoring deeper in her, creating new neural pathways and binding itself into Sienna's consciousness in ways that will take months to complete but are already becoming permanent."It hurts," Sienna says, but not in a complaining way. She's tough in the way that alphas are tough... always capable of enduring significant pain without breaking."Yes. The Entity is large, and your nervous system is having to expand to hold it. Pain is the normal response.""And David?""Stable. Not better, nor worse. His organs are healing slowly, but the damag

  • The Alpha's Forgotten Mate   Chapter 146

Aeliana's POVKira and Devon are already in the cabin, in a matter of minutes. Kira has the male on his back, checking for a pulse. While Devon is securing the perimeter, making sure we don't have pack members about to descend on us."He's alive," Kira says, "but barely. His heart's in fibrillation."I move to him quickly, placing my hands on his chest. His integration attempted to burn through his system like electricity, and it left damage in its wake. His heart is a muscle that can't contain the power anymore, so it's trying to shut down.I reach through the network space, past his body, into the actual mechanism of his heart, and I guide the divine power out of the damaged tissue. It's not my power to manipulate… I'm not a healer… but the Entity n

  • The Alpha's Forgotten Mate   Chapter 145

Aeliana's POV The cabin materializes out of the darkness like something that shouldn't exist—isolated, remote, the kind of place you go when you want to hide a crisis from the world. The vehicle skids to a stop, and I'm already moving, already reaching through the Entity network to perceive what's happening inside. Two bodies. One woman, approximately mid-thirties, has her consciousness fractured into four distinct pieces, each one screaming in a different direction. One man, younger, maybe mid-twenties, his body convulsing as power rips through cells that can't contain it. And between them, an Entity that is not fully formed, or fully integrated, caught in the agony of trying to bond with two vessels simultaneously while one of them actively rejects the process. I hit the door running. The cabin smells like blood and terror and copper-sharp ozone, that burnt-air scent of reality bending too far. The woman is on her knees, her hands pressed against her temples so hard that b

  • The Alpha's Forgotten Mate   Chapter 144

Aeliana’s POV I free him from his restraint; he is already thick, hard, and already leaking with precum. I take him into my mouth slowly, my throat relaxing as I suck him deep, my tongue swirling the head, tasting salt and him. He groans, his hand fisting my hair, holding meI suck deeper, my throat relaxing more, taking him until my nose brushes his stomach. I moan around him, the vibration making him shudder. My hands cup his balls, stroking, while I bob slowly then fast, hollowing cheeks, swallowing around him.His hips thrust shallow, wolf growling low. “Aeliana...fuck...”I pull off with a pop and lick from base to tip, then take him deep again. Through the bond, I feel his pleasure spike, hotly. He comes fast, flooding my mouth in thick pulses. I swallow every drop, milking him until he’s shaking. He pulls me up, kisses me fiercely, tasting himself on my tongue.“Not enough,” he growls, his eyes dark. “More.” "If you are going to convince me to let you go, I need more."He lif

  • The Alpha's Forgotten Mate   Chapter 143

Aeliana's POVElena watches us with deep concern in her eyes. “You’re really considering this? Flying across the country to help strangers while enemies circle our borders?”The words hang heavy in the kitchen air, as the scent of brewing tea is now forgotten.I feel Caelan’s immediate resistance through the bond...his wolf is snarling at the idea of any separation; his Alpha instincts are screaming to keep me safe, to keep us together where we’re strongest. But the distant cry for help sharpens again in my mind, as it fills my senses with blood and terror and fracturing reality. We have a few minutes left.Liora...our Beta...steps forward from where she’s been quietly listening by the door. Her face is tight with worry. “Elena’s right. You just got back. The pack’s still healing from the last battle. Up to forty Shadow Council

  • The Alpha's Forgotten Mate   Chapter 142

Caelan's POVThe pack house is alive with the familiar chaos I’ve missed... with the pups shouting in the yard, the clang of pots from the kitchen, and warriors laughing over coffee in the hall. After days locked in the cottage, lost in Aeliana’s heat, the noise feels like coming home.I kiss her at the bottom of the stairs, lingering a moment longer than necessary.“Paperwork’s calling,” I say, grimacing. “Marcus left me a mountain of them while we were gone.”She smiles, and her eyes go soft. “Go be Alpha to the best that you can. I’ll find Elena and catch up.”I head to my office, with the weight of leadership settling back on my shoulders. The room smells of leather and pine, with stacks of reports waiting on the desk...patrol logs, supply counts, and rebuilding estimates. I sit, crack my neck, and dive in.Focus comes slowly. But my mind keeps drifting to her...to the way she felt this morning, to the deeper hum of our bond since the judgment and the heat. The Entity is quiet, li
