(Third Person's POV) It has been a life time ago, but Hera still felt the exact same way she did when she wore a glasses for the first time. The world became brighter, more beautiful and a place where hope could just conjure itself to being true. She felt happier with it, which would sound a tad bit silly to the average man. But after living more than a thousand years practically blind, you would thank your God and wonderful scientists for the amazing invention which was the glasses. On a normal Monday morning she wouldn't have had the time to romanticize about her love for glasses. On a normal day she wouldn't be staring at her kitchen wallpaper that had been there for the past fifteen years, like a new discovery that she had just happened upon. She also would not be sipping her poorly made black coffee from her "coffee is my love" mug that now says "coff I my lo". A typical day would have started off with rainbow connection by Peter Cincotti playing from the Vinyl and her slowl
(Third Person's POV) Aya stood in front of Mildred's door looking sad and uneasy. But despite her naturally curious nature, Mildred really didn't care. She needed her to leave. This was not the right time to discuss anything and she wasn't interested in what Aya had to say. Mildred looked at Aya and felt sick to her bones. Sick of pretending that everything was perfectly normal, sick of trying to talk to a person who she knew did not care about her and was a bloody user. So she spoke her mind… "Aya, I don't see the point in pretending that everything is fine, and I'm not in the right headspace to discuss whatever you came her to talk about so please can kindly let yourself out of this apartment. We will have whatever discussion it is later." As Mildred spoke, she noticed that Aya wasn't looking at her or listening to her. She was looking at the pregnancy stick she held in her right hand. Instinctively Mildred looked down and saw two little lines showing that she was pregnant. "M
(Alpha Arnold's POV) With all the conspiracies happening, I knew it would only take a short period of time before I was attacked. Luckily for me and my loyal men, we were able to fight off these so called rogues when they attacked us.Their attack was sloppy and it was clearly not planned well but I was very sure they went sent by Colin. Colin was a smart wolf, and I knew that if he attacked, it would have been better planned.I wondered why he attacked and what the aim of this attack was because it was clearly not to kill me. But then, I remembered Mildred. If Colin tried to attack me and got some Intel, he would most definitely try to kill her too.I called Ted and asked all our wolves to get ready to leave for the human realm. I had set guards to watch over Mill, but you never know with these humans, they were not to be trusted.I tried to speak logically to myself, but I still felt uneasy. If there was anything I had learnt from living for more than a century, it was "al
Alpha Colin Gates' POVI have always hated the fact that that little rascal, born by a good for nothing woman to the late alpha king would take over his position and become the next alpha king.It wasn't what I wanted, it wasn't what I planned or bargained for, but there was nothing I could do to stop it.He was quite an old man in a young body, but that didn't dispute the fact that I have been an alpha since the time of his father, so I was supposed to be the next alpha king and not him.It was my fault anyways, I didn't do anything about him when I was supposed to until he assumed the position and I lost the battle again. But this time I would not give up.After staying for a long time without finding his fated mate, the council of alphas and council of elders unanimously agreed that he should take a chosen mate.Seeing that he was confused, they chose my daughter and he accepted her, without a second thought, but she found her own fated mate along the line.. whatever was wrong with
Alpha Arnold's POV I knew I had done something terrible in the human realm I wasn't supposed to do, but I didn't regret it, because I had to save my mate and the baby that the estrange woman was talking about. While the woman was talking, my mind was elsewhere because what I never planned in my entire life happened a while ago and it could cost the lives of innocent wolves who knew nothing about these. "Could you give me a moment please" I said to the woman and my mate, and got up without waiting for their permission. I had more power than every other werewolves in the world and I could do whatever I wished, as long as human and werewolves were concerned. I walked up to Mildred's friend and touch her head, instantly, she forgot about everything that happened a while ago between the werewolves. I went around and started controlling all the humans within the vicinity. "That won't do" The strange woman who called herself Hera said and I stopped abruptly. She got up from the seat a
Mildred's POV I was walking in a place I had never been to in my life. The place looked unnatural and narrow, and no other person was around that place or walking on that road. I felt uncomfortable, and fear started building itself inside me. "What am I doing here?" I stopped to look around. "Mildred, what are you doing here?" My voice echoed back, increasing the fear that was building itself in me. 'How did I get here? What was the last thing I was doing before I got here.' "That her," I heard from behind. I looked back to see some beastly looking things coming after me. I was so scared that I started to run while screaming, but it seemed like my voice wasn't coming out as I screamed. The beastly thing soon caught up with me and changed to something I couldn't describe, before I knew it, they carried me to where a group of men were gathering. The men all looked alike and there was no way I could distinguish one from the other "As soon as I saw the men, I started crying, hopi
Mildred's POV "What's the time?" I asked Aya, looking at her. "It eight twenty.." Aya started, but Mr Arnold cut in. "No need for that." He gently stroked my hair. "There's no need for that." He mouthed. I didn't want to, but I caught myself blushing. What on Earth was going on with me? I feigned a serious face. "I have to go to work, that was why I asked." "You're not fine, besides.. I won't let you suffer or stress yourself while I'm alive. You're mine, you're all I have and I can't let you go or allow any harm come to you." I almost couldn't contain the excitement building within me when I heard those words, but I didn't trust men. I couldn't trust him. "I'm a human, not your property." "You are my property and I'm yours too. I belong to only you." "Hmmm.. ummm" Aya cleared her throat. She really saved my ass, because I didn't know what to reply him. Besides, I already forgot she was there too and I guess Mr Arnold forgot too. "I want to be with you forever, sleep with
Aya's POV Mildred's Mr. Arnold was acting out because I said I didn't trust him, and instead of taking my side, she chose a total stranger. It was very typical of her, she never loved me the way I loved her, it was either her job, boss, colleague, customer or even an unborn baby daddy over me. I wanted to be mad at her, but I couldn't because I had no right, she should be mad at me instead, thanks to Jake. But why didn't she tell me? Or did she? Maybe she did, but I didn't take it seriously. I closed the door to her room, and was about to leave when I heard Mildred's discussion with her Mr. Arnold. "When are you leaving?" She asked him. I thought I was the only victim of Mildred's cold-heartedness, but it reached Mr. Arnold. I wish he had come to me instead, but maybe he didn't come because of that stupid Jake, who was a good for nothing. Jake only added to the problems of my l
