CHAPTER 96

IVY

I continued to listen to the conversation between Lucian and the woman sitting by the fire, "yes. I had my suspicions at first, but I wasn't sure, and I didn't want to alarm you if it wasn't what I thought. Finding a witch in the human world and who didn't seem aware of her own identity is not a joke after all. Besides, she's not a normal witch. She seems to come from a lineage of powerful witches, the last one who has been missing for a few decades. Everyone assumed that she was dead, it seems that Ivy is the granddaughter of the person I'm thinking about. Considering the time frame , it can only be her granddaughter. She has been gone for so long, who thought that one of her defendants would still be alive?" The woman speaking to Lucian sounded excited as she said all of this.

I covered my mouth to keep myself from gasping in shock when I heard this. I didn't want them to know that I overheard their conversation.

    CHAPTER 107DAMIEN I cursed under my breath when Julia pushed the door open and walked in. Why did she choose now of all time to walk in?
