Chapter 6

Shadow’s parents met with Lillian’s parents, and they soon became friends.

A day later, Ryan arrived at their house as well.

When Lillian first saw him, she hugged him tightly.

“I’m sorry that you had to die because of me.” She told him in a sad tone.

“Don’t worry about it. I didn’t die protecting you. I died protecting this idiot.” Ryan told her and patted her back comfortingly.

Shadow rolled his eyes at him.

Lillian took a few steps back from Ryan and looked at Shadow with a small scowl.

“Can’t you at least tell me who’s coming over before they arrive? I’d like to be prepared a little beforehand.” She told me.

“Sorry, babe. I thought it would be a good surprise.” Shadow told her.

“My parents are coming too. I had them look for you and when I told them to look for you they wanted to see you.” Ryan told her.

“Thanks for telling me.” She told him with a smile.

“You’re welcome.” Ryan told her with a smile and then asked. “So, when are you two leaving?”
