Surprisingly, Annabelle was discharged the very next day. When she woke up that morning, her blisters were gone, leaving tiny scabs and pink scars which would be gone within a day or two. Dr. Philips said that he's never seen anything like it, it was almost as if she had the healing powers of a werewolf.
Of course, she did.
I channeled all my shapeshifter's healing abilities to her using the black onyx stone that she had on her neck. It would have been faster if I were able to lick her wounds. Wolves' saliva has healing properties, specifically on their mates but I don't think she would appreciate being licked by me.
Especially not at this moment, and in front of pack members who are working at the hospital.
We left the hospital and were at the beach house - me, Annabelle, Roman, Arch, Trav, and Jughead; opting for the privacy of the beach house against the crowd at the packhouse.
It was time to break the curse.

Hi! My current posting schedule: Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. Here's a new chapter just for you guys. Happy reading! xx F.A.R. aka fabulouslyawesomereads Note: I'd really appreciate it if you could give me a five-star review for the book. Thank you!
Crimson Bay Nari Montgomery The second induction test did not go well for me. The inferno spell I cast on Annabelle had drained most of my powers causing me to arrive at the Wiccan Castle with my magical energy almost depleted. What a stupid move. How was I to know my induction test was going to be on the same day? Oh, don't get me wrong. I passed the test but I did not excel at it, not the way a Royal Wiccan should. I was an embarrassment. This test was from Maxwell, one of the Wiccan Council members. He had lured a vampire into our lands using a hallucination spell and I was supposed to steal a magical item that the vampire was wearing on his neck. It took longer for me to be able to come up with a plan of attack for the vampire and I had to hide my scent and aura with a cloaking spell for the first part of the test so that the vampire couldn't detect me while I recover
Bayswater Beach Romeo Price I could smell the saccharine scent of the vampire from a mile away. He was fast, but also significantly weakened. If his powers were in full force, I wouldn't be able to discern the icy scent of blood and death that lingered around him at all, at least not until he was already behind me and his fingers had curled around my neck, ready to snap and kill me. But now, he didn't even bother to cover his scent. It was as if he wanted me to know that he's coming. I heard three knocks on the door and stood up, causing Annabelle to look at me questioningly. She keeps her privacy guarded closely but due to my position as king, I do not have the same liberty as she does. Unlike her, people just know who I am. She wasn't aware that I knew the identity of the vampire who was knocking on her door. In fact, I am probably the reason why he's here. "Dimitri? Is
Bayswater Beach Dimitri Nebayev I stood silent behind the witch as she closed the front door. Romeo had left with his brother and Beta back to the packhouse and entrusted her care and safety with me. I found it odd that she trusted me, despite only having been introduced to me an hour ago. Did she know more about me than she led on? "Shall we return to the living room?" She asked, her tone polite, one of a stranger to another. However, her eyes gave her away. It expressed a mixture of emotions - intrigue, curiosity, and even respect. It was quite refreshing to find someone who didn't fear who I am, a prince from the Vampire Kingdom. I nodded in return and glided effortlessly towards the living room. My vampire speed allowed me to be there within a blink of an eye, causing her to gasp in surprise. By the time she entered the room, I was already holding brandy in my hand, having refil
Moonstone Pack Lands Nari Montgomery It was almost four hours later when Sebastian and Stephen returned to the packhouse. I had initially planned to find them using a locating spell but decided against it. Might as well utilize the time to rest and recover my strength. So I slept instead. I woke up to the sound of the bedroom door opening and heavy footsteps entering the room. "Is that you, love?" Sebastian's voice was gruff and tired when he appeared at the doorway. His hair was in disarray as if he'd run his fingers through it too often and his face was grim. Whatever issue he was facing this afternoon, it must not have been pleasant. I stirred on the bed, my hair cascading behind my shoulders as I sat. I covered my chest with a blanket and leaned my back on the pillows propped against the headboard. "I returned to find the packhouse empty," I pouted, my heartbeat rising in anticip
Bayswater Pack Lands Romeo Price We returned to the packhouse quietly. No one in the pack knows that I've returned except for my inner circle. At times like these, I am thankful that the packhouse is divided into two sections with separate entrances, private quarters for the Alpha and Beta, and a general entrance for other members on the other side of the building. There's a door connecting the two areas on the ground floor, where my office and small meeting rooms are located. We had reconvened in the private kitchen discussing the preparations for the upcoming Alpha meeting. Accommodation and food for Alphas from other packs and their entourage need to be prepared, the function halls and large meeting rooms located in a building from across the packhouse also need to be readied. The Alpha meeting will last for two days, meetings will run throughout the day, discussing treaties, resolving territorial issues, an
Bayswater Beach Annabelle Aoki Sunlight filtered through a slit between the curtains and I realized that it was mid-morning when I woke up, having conversed with Romeo until way past midnight. As usual, once we started speaking, we couldn't stop. So many exciting things came to light last night, and although the occasion should have been momentous, it was not, at least not for me. Romeo is my mate. I've known it through a dream that I had the night before I came to Bayswater. Perhaps fate had a hand in our meeting - it was serendipitous that my parents decided that I would be grounded to the beach house in Bayswater, allowing me to tag along with the vision in my dream. On the day I arrived, I went out to the beach during sunset, and just like how it played out in my dream, I found him in his wolf form, injured and lifeless. Everything - the beach, the weather, and even the mated blood and
Bayswater Beach Romeo Price I woke up early this morning only to be swamped with work - Alpha duties and numerous of the kingdom's paperwork had been piling for days on the table in my office. I thought I would spend the morning addressing some of the urgent matters for the pack and the kingdom before dropping by at the beach house. So I left my phone in my bedroom, a decision that I severely regretted. Bloody hell. I left the packhouse for the beach house immediately after reading Annabelle's text message, two hours after she had sent it. And I've been calling her phone ever since but she never answered. What help did she need? Is she in danger? She could be dead by now. In my desperation I called Dimitri only to find the vampire prince had left the beach house in the middle of the night, going off to ambush Nari so that he could retri
Bayswater Beach Annabelle Aoki I hurriedly exited the kitchen and chased after the boys, leaving a very confused Romeo behind me. He had held out his hand to me, which I blatantly ignored. Did he think he has a claim on me now that I've confessed to him that we're mates? Oh how I wish he did, but he doesn't. If only he knew of the truth. I marched into the living room, my footsteps purposeful and heavy. When I entered the room, I found the space vacant and the hidden door already ajar. Darn it! Despite their large and muscular build, these shapeshifters' movements were surprisingly silent, swift, and agile. They must have purposely left us behind, a not-so-subtle attempt at allowing privacy for me and Romeo. Light footsteps sounded behind me and I quickly advanced towards the partially opened door, my heart thumping violently as I moved. I'm not ready to face h
