I had just completed a spell, the first transfer of items from the underground library to another safe house when Romeo and the boys burst through the underground passageway, causing a racket loud enough to wake the dead.
I and Trav paused what we were doing and looked up, only to find a haggard-looking Dimitri tied to a chair and carried by Arch and Roman. Behind them were Romeo and Jughead, carrying a limp, battered, and bloodied girl.

My powers were severely drained from the intensive use of magic and the flurry of activities brought in by Romeo and his mates are making my head spin.
