The Peace Before The Battle

The moments just before dawn, the two armies stood facing each other. For the first time, the battle was going to be war instead of hunting from the dark and stalking. On one side stood the countless undead, ready to fight the battle like puppets and pawns. On the other stood those who looked at the faces of their loved ones for the last time, hardening their hearts to kill the bodies... so that the souls of their loved ones would rest in peace.
