Chapter 15: Working for Mr. Morde

Jack walked to where Violet was and stopped in front of her.

"Well, I guess everything went on smoothly. You're safe for now."

"Am I?" Violet said sarcastically. "I don't see how I can be safe working for people that hate me."

"You're gonna work for me, and I don't remember saying that I hated you." he said.
