The Alpha's Rose - Chapter 14

Maddie curls up under Rose’s right arm and starts to quietly tell her about her day, even though Rose can’t hear her. We all stay quiet and listen to her story.

“Mama, I finally made a friend today. Her name is Jessica, and she is 10. She is really nice and she’s at Zeus for playing piano. Mr. Platt was out today, and they didn’t get us a sub, so we were told to all sit quietly and do work until our next class. I didn’t have any work to do because I’ve already worked ahead, so I pulled out one of the library books to read.
