The War of the Royals: The Alpha's Rose Conclusion
For nearly two decades, Madison Evans has led her pack, Blue Meadow as Alpha. Alone. In all that time, she has yet to meet her fated mate. She has dedicated her life to leading like a good alpha should and training her siblings to become the destined Royal leaders of the shifter world. But being without a mate has taken it’s toll on her and her wolf, Infinity. A deep depression has set in and without the magic of her Luna, Infinity is going feral. Maddie is losing hope that she will ever find her destined love and she feels that Selene has abandoned and forgotten her.
Joshua Logan, three-time Super Bowl champion and sixteen-year veteran quarterback of the Green Bay Packers, has found himself in a bit of situation. Despite all his success over the years, he is learning that resigning a contract with his recent injuries is proving near impossible. Frustrated and depressed, he spies Maddie in the most unlikely of places. Obsessed with finding her again, Joshua turns up in Blue Meadow, unknowingly placing himself in a world of supernatural danger.
As the situation between Maddie and Josh builds, so does the unrest and malice within the shifter world. The darkness has been focused on Maddie and Blue Meadow, but unable to bring her down, it shifts focus to her family and allies. Will the mounting danger of attacks and the political conflicts keep Maddie and Josh from growing their bond? Will Josh fall in love with Maddie, choosing to stay and be her Luna? Or will he go back to his life in the human world, leaving Maddie alone once again?

Chapter: The War of the Royals - Chapter 132MADDIE POV “I know I was never meant to be. Selene didn’t plan me like she did everyone else. She didn’t plan my birth, and my ‘destiny’ was really, just busy work for her. To make me feel like I was part of the group. Anyone looking at us as a family can tell I don’t belong. My green eyes cement that for anyone who meets us.” “I still did what I was told though. Because that’s what a good Alpha does, right? We strive for the betterment of our pack and species. Always for others. All I had to look forward to was finding my mate. Maybe I’d finally feel whole and like I wasn’t a mistake, a burden for the universe, if I could find him. “Then to find out on my birthday, at my Alpha ceremony that the man I’m in love with belongs to my best friend. It shattered me. I felt hollow and so incredibly alone, because then I didn’t have any of you nearby to help me with my feelings. It made me feel more freakish than I already did. I never, not once, blamed them

Chapter: The War of the Royals - Chapter 131MADDIE POV I pull up to my pack gates and see Daddy’s Ferrari already sitting to the side, waiting for me. I told my gate guards that he wasn’t welcome, and they have adhered to my directive perfectly. I know he’s tried to see me numerous times, but they always deny him entrance. I roll to a stop next to the gate house and my guards exit. “Alpha.” They address me together and wait for my instructions. “Let my parents in. Alpha Tyson is now welcome on territory. At least for tonight.” They nod as I pull away and I see Daddy pulling in behind me after they wave him in. I park in my spot in the underground garage and slowly make my way inside and to my office. Mama and Daddy are already there on the couch, waiting for me. We always have our serious discussions at the couches in a more relaxed manner where rank isn’t a thing; but not today. I close the door and sit behind my desk. Not that I need to power play him, but this is reiterating th

Chapter: The War of the Royals - Chapter 130MADDIE POV As the embers of the funeral fire are finally burning out, I give my last condolences and hugs to Nicolette and Francois; I need to get back to my own pack and begin making plans with my family on how we will proceed with the threat we can now see. Daddy will be coming back to Black Lake tomorrow with his and Mama’s things so they can begin the pack rebuild; Francois transferred his power to Daddy tonight, just before the funeral. Gamma Gaston gives me a two-finger salute as he helps a few pack members who lost family in the attack make their way back to the pack house for their overnight celebration of life. I am so glad he survived the fight, at least long enough for Nolan to arrive and help Gaston heal with his power. I almost chuckle at myself, which is really not appropriate right now, with the image of Nolan running around the injured with a pack member following with a wagon full of food and drinks. Nolan expends hundre

Chapter: The War of the Royals - Chapter 129MADDIE POV The hot midnight air is heavy and thick, filled with smoke and ash. It billows and blows around us as we witness the funeral pyre for Alpha Pierre, his Delta, their warriors and their innocent civilians. It burns high and hot; the flesh of my face feels sunburned and scorched from how long we’ve been standing and watching. But the heat doesn’t fully register. The tiredness and devastation fills all of us who are present. The quiet sobs and loud wails of the pack’s members mourning their dead fill my heart with grief and sorrow. I feel so… impotent. Just standing here. Regret churns in my gut for all the actions I didn’t take that day. If I had been faster, would this have happened? Could I have helped more than I did? If I hadn’t been so depressed; mourning the incomplete loss of my mate bond, would I have seen this coming? Were there signs that I missed because I was distracted by emotions? Despite my feelings of personal failure, I know

Chapter: The War of the Royals - Chapter 128MADDIE POV My warriors and I swath a path of death and destruction through the attackers, mowing them down as we move toward the pack house. While the attacking shifters are healthy, they aren’t as well trained as mine. But they are better than Alpha Pierre’s, as evidenced by the bodies we come across. We break the tree line, and I see the closest house is on fire. Actually, most of this neighborhood is on fire. I see dead civilians all over the place and pack members trying to escape the attacking horde, running with their pups and loved ones in their arms. My team and I move quickly through the fiery streets, helping as many as we can by killing those who are a danger. We don’t have time to stop and help the injured, but I know my clean up and medical teams are coming behind me, our standard protocol in event of lending aid for an attack. I take comfort with the thought that they’ll have help soon, but the rest of us have to move on with providing

Chapter: The War of the Royals - Chapter 127MADDIE POV We race to the border, hoping to get to Black Lake in time to help Alpha Pierre’s warriors. During my momentary observation from the eagle’s eyes, I could see close to a hundred wolves, possibly more, making their way to his Eastern boundary line from no-man’s-land, the unclaimed land between our territories. And the wolves I saw clearly didn’t look sickly and weak. They looked strong and healthy, a much more formidable force than the last group we fought. I can hear my own warriors falling into formation behind me. Hundreds of paws pounding the earth in warning of our charge. It is exhilarating, and adrenaline inducing, yet a comforting balm too. I never have to question if my people will be there. That is part of being a good alpha and leader. Other than the random bad apple in the pack, the rest of your people support you because you support them and make them a priority. And I have, time and time again. As evidenced by my being here,

The Alpha's Rose
Billionaire CEO Tyson Evans is the alpha to River View pack. The largest and wealthiest wolf pack in Wisconsin and possibly the entire United States. He is a fair alpha, leading his people to prosperity with compassion and strength. However, his life is all about work and his pack. He’s lonely and looking for his fated mate to be his Luna. Many vie for and want the position, but Tyson won’t settle for a she-wolf who isn’t the one the Goddess gifted to him. But Tyson is running out of time. He is one of the oldest Alphas without a mate and the longer he goes without her, the closer he gets to turning feral.
Rose is a single mother, working multiple jobs to pay for her genius daughter, Maddie, to attend a special private school geared toward talented and brilliant children. It is incredibly expensive, and Rose struggles on a daily basis to make ends meet. But she is determined to do almost anything to make sure her daughter has a life that is better than Rose’s has been. And she’s determined to do it all on her own.
Rose knows nothing about the supernatural world around her. Will she accept being the fated mate to Tyson? Will Rose, as a human, struggle to accept the mysterious and dangerous world of shifters? Can Tyson and his wolf accept that Rose already has a child? One not of his blood? How will fate end up bringing them together? Are they strong enough to weather the challenges coming their way? Or will the struggle be too much, leading Rose to reject Tyson and their bond?

Chapter: The Alpha's Rose - Epilogue ThreeMADDIE—EPILOGUE THREE10 YEARS LATERI stand in the master bedroom of the newly renovated Alpha suite of Blue Meadow’s packhouse. Today is my 18th birthday and also the day I take my place as Alpha of my pack. I stare at myself in the full-length mirror and think about everything that has happened in the last decade to prepare me for this moment and the life I have ahead of me.I graduated from Zeus Academy at the age of 10. I attended college classes online through the University of Arizona. It wasn’t the Ivy League like everyone expected from me; those didn’t offer a self-paced program or enough online courses for me to get my degrees. I didn’t want to separate myself from my family to attend university, so I chose a less prestigious route that worked the best for me. I have zero regrets with my choice in schools. In eight years of education post-high school, I’ve earned four bachelor’s degrees, two master’s and one PhD. I’ve also studied diligently with Tyson on how to run a pack an

Chapter: The Alpha's Rose - Epilogue TwoROSE—EPILOGUE TWOIt’s been 6 months since I delivered Nolan into this world. He has grown like a damn weed and has become the center of our little universe. None of us can get enough of him and his baby scent. Both Tyson and I have retrofitted our offices to accommodate an infant including changing tables, swings, refrigerators, diapers, wipes, spit up rags and pacifiers galore. All the necessities for having an infant. And I can say, without a doubt, Nolan is the easiest going baby I’ve ever experienced. He rarely cries and he’s always happy, as long as he’s being held. He loves skin to skin contact, so much that he rarely wears any clothes. Mads and I always wear spaghetti strap shirts when we’re holding him, and Tyson just takes his own shirt off.It was hilarious when we first figured out that he likes skin so much, Tyson walking around the packhouse shirtless. Granted no one said anything to him about it, but I had the hardest time not whisking him away for sexy time. I mean, all

Chapter: The Alpha's Rose - Epilogue OneTYSON – EPILOGUE ONEThe last three months, post war, have been absolute hell! Yeah, I said it. Hell. Getting Blue Meadow back on its feet has been a huge challenge in and of itself. Much worse than most of the other territories I’ve taken over throughout the years. I honestly kept so much from both Maddie and Rose. Neither of them needed to know the intricate details of the rebuild. They were both getting over the trauma and horrors of the battle itself. I didn’t want to worry them.Kent, that worthless piece of crap, really did a number on this pack, it’s health and its finances. I had to pay over three million dollars to a mob pack in Las Vegas, for both Blue Meadow and Pine Woods’ debts. The last thing I wanted was for the mob to demand parts of the pack or worse, them going to the council for payment. I want to keep the council out of any and all of my affairs, as much as possible. They have proved, repeatedly, that they can’t be trusted to do their jobs.I made that trip to Vegas

Chapter: The Alpha's Rose - Chapter 145ROSE“I thought I was going to lose you yesterday, Rose. Don’t do that to me again. You are my whole world.” He says as he slows his thrusts, showing me how much he loves me. I open my eyes and see Zeus shining out with him. I cup their cheeks and bring their mouth to mine. I kiss them with all the love I have within me. We continue slowly but with passion until we both explode in delicious orgasm.“I hope our sex continues to be this amazing in the years to come.” I tell him as we separate from each other.“Rose, from what I understand from other mated couples, it just gets better and better.”“I’m not sure how it can get better, but I look forward to learning.” I say with a sassy smirk over my shoulder as I step into the water. Tyson joins me in the water and does what he always does. He washes me and kisses the scars I have left. Apparently, they are much smaller than they once were. When I get out of the shower, I turn to look at my back and I gasp at what I see. The main lines are

Chapter: The Alpha's Rose - Chapter 144ROSEWatching Tyson battling Kent is one of the scariest things I’ve ever had to witness. Kent looks awful and I feel horrible for his wolf, being saddled with such an atrocious human spirit. I know Tyson will take him down, but I’m still scared that something will happen to him that he can’t heal from. Tyson is my everything. My other half. I know I will live on should he perish during this battle, but it would be for Maddie and our baby only. My soul would be shattered, never to live like I did before. He has to pull through. He just has to.George holds me close, giving me comfort as we watch Tyson fighting Kent. As it progresses, my worry lessens somewhat. Kent isn’t fighting well, and he’s not healing from his minor injuries. I hope this speeds up because I hate seeing him suffer. Despite all the shit he’s put me through, I know his wolf doesn’t deserve anything long and drawn out.I breathe a sigh of relief when Tyson pulls Kent’s heart out of his chest, thankful that the man re

Chapter: The Alpha's Rose - Chapter 143TYSONThe moment I see Maddie jump toward Rachel; I know it's Infinity up front and in control. Her eyes are glowing a bright green-gold-yellow and the angry expression is one I don’t think I’ve ever seen on Maddie’s face before. Plus, I can’t smell her on the wind like I can my Rose. I launch forward when I see Rachel’s eyes unfocus in that split second when Infinity lands on her back, knowing I’ll only have a moment to attack with Infinity’s distraction. What I’m not expecting is Infinity to kill Rachel in that moment. I know Infinity is an ancient wolf spirit, she’s fast on her feet and I know she’s killed in her past lives, but to see the blood of a kill on my sweet, baby Maddie’s hands, is beyond shocking.Rose, however, doesn’t even flinch at seeing Infinity toss Rachel’s heart to the ground or her splattered in Rachel’s blood. Nor does she pause with the gravity of meeting Infinity. Rose has really embraced the wolf shifter world completely and totally. I couldn’t be prouder of
