The meet was scheduled for just after sundown. We geared up and headed out about an hour before to give us plenty of time to get into position and make sure we did a thorough job disguising our scents. Max and the other warriors would be securing the perimeter while Sutton and I holed up inside and awaited the contact. We would be the first to confront them.

The cabin was located in a remote location along a steep bluff that formed a natural boundary between the Ironpaw and Dawn Stalker packs.
