Mia’s POV

The wedding soon came to an end and after exchanging gifts, it was time for me to go to my new home. Looking around the familiar room for what seemed to be the last time, a wave of sadness washed through me as memories flooded my mind. I felt like I was leaving a part of myself behind and the thought of starting anew in a new place with a new person filled me with anxiety.

Taking a deep breath, I forced a smile on my lips as mother came up to me while father spoke to Alpha Logan.

“Mia”

Mother whispered, taking my hands in her hands.

“We’ll miss you”

She added, her voice barely above a whisper and I smiled again, this time more genuinely.

“I’ll miss you too mother” I muttered, enveloping her in a tight hug.

Just then, father’s voice interrupted us “Maya, it’s time to go” he announced. I slowly pulled away from mother’s arms and turned to face father, Alpha Logan stood beside him, his eyes fixed on me and I felt a flutter in my chest as I nodded.

“Father”

I whispered as he walked up to me and also engulfed me in a sudden hug.

“Everything will be fine”

He whispered in my ears, “just remember what I told you” he added, pulling away and I nodded. “91 days”

He reminded, his voice only audible to me and I nodded, reminding myself of our agreement.

91 days.

With one last look at my parents, I took a deep breath and stepped forward towards Alpha Logan who offered me a gentle smile and his hand. I took his hand and I saw his smile grew slightly as he wrapped his fingers around mine and I shivered silently.

As we walked out of the room, I glanced back at my parents who stood watching us with mixed emotions on their faces. Mother’s eyes shone with tears while father’s expression was blank, giving away nothing. I smiled weakly at them, giving them one last nod before Alpha Logan led me out of the house.

The carriage was waiting outside, Alpha Logan or should I say my husband led the way to the carriage, helping me settle into the seat before climbing beside me and the horses began to move.

We rode home in silence, each not saying a word to the other and it made me nervous because it gave me time to think of what was waiting once we arrived, the wedding consummation.

As the Alpha’s daughters, father made sure we never had contact with any man, I had never even touch a man before and now I…

I tried to push the thoughts away but they lingered making me shift uncomfortable on my seat. I could feel Alpha Logan’s eyes on me but I couldn’t bring myself to meet his gaze instead, I kept my eyes fixed on the window watching the trees and houses pass by in a blur.

Just as I thought I couldn’t take the silence anymore, the carriage came to a stop and Alpha Logan’s voice broke the silence “we’re here” he announced and I breathed out a sigh of relief.

He stepped out of the carriage and offered me his hand as he helped me down and I couldn’t help but widened my eyes by the majestic castle before me.

The castle was simply breathtaking. Far more luxurious than any other castle I’ve seen. The entrance was guarded by two massive stone statues of wolves, their eyes gleaming in the moonlight and the doors were adorned with beautiful carvings of pack symbols.

The castle was made of polished white stone and the roof was a deep, rich blue. The windows were tall and narrow with beautiful stone carvings and the floor was covered with white marbles.

It was truly a beautiful sight.

“Logan”

Someone called and we both turned to see a figure approaching us.

Lucas’s bright smile, Eleanor’s laughter and my own happiness. Happy to see Lucas happy and in love. I had thought they’d make a great couple, that Eleanor was good for Lucas but it was all a facade, a lie.How could we be so blind? how could I be so blind?I clenched my fists beside me as I thought about how throughly she had deceived and manipulated us into believing her and I felt my anger resurfaced. The thought of it still burned within me and I couldn’t help but wonder what other lies she had told, what other secrets she had kept hidden behind that innocent face.“What happened next Logan?tell me”Maya’s tiny voice brought me back to reality and I took a

He was still fast asleep and I slowly raised my head to look at him only to be greeted by his breathtaking face. His hair was rough and messy with strands falling across his forehead and his lips which were slightly parted seemed to be inviting me to kiss him. I felt a flutter in my chest as I gazed at him, the urge to lean in and press my lips on him was almost overwhelming. For a moment, I just laid there, taking in the sight of him and feeling the warmth of his body. Even in his sleep, he still looked as breathtaking as ever and being in his arms felt just right. It felt like I was exactly where I was meant to be. Taking a deep breath, I gently shifted my position, trying not to wake him but as soon as I moved, his arms tightened around me, pulling me back to him and I froze. “Good morning” He whispered, his voice husky as h

Her clothes were covered in blood and dirt and her eyes were filled with fear as she stared at me. “Maya” I whispered, reaching for her. “Let her go!” I snarled and Lucas chuckled. “You’re in no position to make demands Logan” He replied, taking a step closer to Maya. “You’re so weak Logan” Lucas sneered and grabbed Maya’s chin, forcing her to look up at him. “You can’t even save the people you care about” He added and I lost it.
