Wedding night

It was a man, tall and handsome with brown hair. His eyes came to settle on me and his lips curved into a small smile.

“Ah Luna”

He muttered, bowing his head in respect before turning his gaze back to Alpha Logan. “Welcome back Alpha” He muttered and Alpha Logan nodded.

“Thank you Marcus”

He replied before turning to face me.

“Maya meet Marcus, my right hand man”

He introduced and I smiled.

“Nice to meet you Marcus”

I said extending my hands in greeting.

Marcus smile grew as he took my hand in a handshake

“The pleasure is mine, my lady” he muttered before turning back to face Alpha Logan, mumbling some inaudible words to him and I could feel the air grow thick with tension. Alpha Logan’s expression turned serious and he nodded curtly at Marcus before turning back to me.

“The maids will show you to your quarters” he smiled “I’ll see you at dinner”

With that he turned and walked away. Marcus bowed slightly and gestured for one of the maids to approach before following Alpha Logan.

“This way my lady”

The maid said, bowing slightly before leading me down the hallway.

As I followed the maid, I couldn’t help but wonder what had caused the sudden change in Alpha Logan’s attitude. What had Marcus said to him? And why did it seem to have affected him deeply?

The maid stopped in front of a large wooden door and pushed it open, revealing a beautiful decorated room. “Your quarters my lady”

She announced, stepping aside and I walked into the room, feeling a sense of relief at being alone, away from everyone else.

I walked further into the room, taking in the beautiful decorations and furnishings. The room was spacious, with a large king sized bed dominating the center of the room. The wall were adorned with beautiful paintings and the floor was covered with soft rugs. Looking around, I noticed a door that led to the dressing room and opening it, I was greeted with a large walk in closet filled with beautiful clothes and accessories.

I smiled, closing the doors and decided to have a warm bath before dinner.

More maids came in to help prepare the bath for me, adding scented oils and other items to the water. They helped me get undress and step into the tub, gently washing my hair and scrubbing my skin. And as I soaked in the bath, I felt my muscles relax and my mind began to calm as the relaxing aroma of the scented oils filled the air.

My mind drifted off to Alpha Logan, wondering what he was doing at the moment but I quickly pushed the thoughts aside, enjoying the peacefulness that came with the bath.

After what felt like eternity, the maids helped me out of the bath, wrapping me in a soft towel. They gently dried my hair and skin before slipping me into a beautiful nightgown made of silk as they applied some scented oil on my skin.

After preparing me, they served me a green tea and I narrowed my eyes.

“What’s this?”

I asked and the maid smiled. “It will help you get ready and also reduce the pain my lady”

She revealed and my eyes widened in horror as I realized what she was talking about.

Help me get ready. The pain.

The wedding consummation.

My heart raced in my chest as the thought of what awaited me that night filled my mind.

Would he be gentle or rough? He didn’t look gentle to me. Would I be able to please him? The questions swirled in my mind making me more and more anxious.

“I don’t need it”

I finally found my voice and the maid hesitated for a moment before nodding her head.

“We’ll inform the Alpha you’re ready”

They announced and left, leaving me alone with my thoughts.

My heart pounded so hard in my chest with each passing second that it was getting harder to breathe and my head began to spin. Taking a deep breath, I tried to calm my racing mind by closing my eyes but the room seemed to spin even faster and I sighed. My senses were overwhelmed by the anticipation of what was about to come and I felt like I was loosing my grip on reality.

After waiting for what seemed like hours but were just minutes, the door finally opened and Alpha Logan stepped inside.
