Logan POV

“ Aren’t you dying to know where your beloved wife is?”

Lucas asked, and I could sense a hint of mockery in his voice.

“Where’s she?”

I growled and he laughed.

“Bring her!”

Lucas yelled and the sounds of footsteps echoed through the forest. I turned to see Maya dragged out and my heart sank as I took in the sight of her, my eyes widening in horror.

Her wrists was bound with strong ropes and a gag was tied around her mouth.

Her clothes were covered in blood and dirt and her eyes were filled with fear as she stared at me.

“Maya”

I whispered, reaching for her.

“Let her go!”

I snarled and Lucas chuckled.

“You’re in no position to make demands Logan”

He replied, taking a step closer to Maya.

“You’re so weak Logan”

Lucas sneered and grabbed Maya’s chin, forcing her to look up at him.

“You can’t even save the people you care about”

He added and I lost it.

I lunged forward, fueled by rage but Lucas’s men grabbed me, holding me back.
