My eyes blazed with fury as I lunged at Lucas but he was too quick, dodging out of the way just in time and I crashed into a tree.

Lucas laughed, his voice echoing through the forest as he came to stand a few inches from me.

“You’re so predictable Logan, still as slow as ever”

He mocked.

“You’re going to have to do better than that if you want to save Maya”

His words fueled my anger and I pushed myself off the tree, my eyes fixed on Lucas’s smirking face.

“Where’s she?”

I growled and his smile grew wider.

“Oh you’ll find out soon enough”

He taunted. “But for now, let’s just say she’s occupied”

I took a step closer to him, my fists clenched at my sides.

“You’re going to regret playing games with me Lucas”

I snarled.

Lucas’s laughter died down, but the smile remained.

“I’m just getting started Logan”

He muttered, his voice dripping with malice.

“Men!!”
