04~ Working overtime

Weeks later…

I took over the reins and Jumped over Ariana’s fence to avoid getting caught by her. Wesley had been whining to see her so we had been coming over to her place every night to watch her secretly.

Quickly running towards my car that was parked by the roadside, I looked around before shifting back to my human form and entered the car.

Phew! That was close.

‘Coward.’ Wesley grumbled as I put on my clothes.

‘I’m not being a coward... She would freak out if a big wolf suddenly showed up in her yard. You wouldn’t want our mate to be scared of us, would you?’ I tried to reason but he wasn’t having it. He was getting grumpier and irritable by the minute. I had to force myself forward back there otherwise he would have done something to scare our little mate away.

‘You ain’t doing shit so I should take matters into my own hands.’ He said and I frowned. That wouldn’t be good. A forced mark was a taboo… I was worried this situation was making Wesley slowly lose his sanity.
