Finally shattered

I was dressed and made up: Lunar Esdel stayed there, directing the makeup artists on what my face should look like. She told them to add extra concealer to my face to cover up the scars that were there. I was also made to go through skin exfoliating processes to make my skin shiny and remove dirt that had accumulated in my pores.

"You need to stop crying," Lunar Esdel said harshly "you are not trying to ruin the makeup are you, what sort of nonsense is this, do you want to give people the impression that you were forced to do this" she gripped my face and wiped the fresh tears that were starting to gather in my eyes

"You need to stop ruining the makeup" she paused and let out an exasperated sigh "if you want to cry, wait until we get kicked into the street, then you'll have enough reasons to cry then" she gripped my face and wiped it again

"There don't mess it up anymore, you just need to be brave"

I didn't cry anymore, not because of what she said though but because I'd run out of
