Natalie

I had no one, my mother was dead as was my grandfather. I was on he floor at the border of Moon Shadow Pack crying, hoping my father would reconsider and come back for me.

All of a sudden I heard the sound of an approaching car and I quickly stood up. I recognised that car, it belonged to Yara, did my father send her to come get me?

She came out of the car and made her way over to me.  “I'm sorry that this is happening to you Natalie, I'm here to help I have an apartment you can stay in.” She tells me but I'm wary of her help.

“Why would you help me?” I ask her and she smirks.

“Trust me, it isn't just for your benefit, you're the only one who knew our mother and I would like to know more about her. So, do we have a deal?” She asks me.

“Yes we do.” I tell her, it's not like I had any other choice.

Yara and I looked exactly alike, there wasn't any difference, it was like looking in a mirror, I am very grateful to have my twin sister by my side when I was down and out.

I was very lucky that she was with me all the time during my pregnancy.

Nine Months Later

The sound of crying babies spread throughout the apartment as I gave birth to my two babies with the help of my sister Yara.

I was so weak, I had lost a lot of blood but all I wanted was to hold my children. Yara had finished cleaning them up and had them swaddled up in a blanket, she held both children in her arms.

“Yara, please give them to me, I want to hold them.” I pleaded with my sister.

“You're very funny Natalie.” Yara smirks at me, still not giving me my children.

“I have never met anyone as gullible as you are, did you really think that I was here to help?” She asks as she starts laughing.

Immediately my heart sinks to my stomach, I try to move to get my children from her but I'm still in so much pain.

“These children are mine and you will never see them again.” She tells me.

“No, Yara, please don't take my children away from me.” I pleaded but I was too weak to do anything. My wolf was growling inside me, but at this moment, even she couldn’t help me.

“Why Natalie? Why did you have to come back after our mother died? You're just a rogue, you're nothing and you had no place in our pack.

I mean that day that you came to the house, crying under the rain, I actually wished that you would die of hypothermia or something, but you didn't. But that's the thing with you rogues, you're like cock roaches, very hard to kill.

So you came into our pack to win our fathers favour and take him away from me didn't you? But you see I couldn't let that happen, I am the apple of our fathers eyes and I will do everything in my power to keep it that way.” She tells me as I see evil in her eyes.

“It was me who drugged you that night, I planned everything and you fell right into my trap. I mean the look on your face when we walked into that hotel room, it took everything in me not to laugh. I never expected you to get pregnant but that doesn't change anything, I'm going to kill you and your evil spawns.” She declares.

I could only watch as Yara poured gasoline around the room and then set the room on fire and she ran away with my children.

I watched as she ran out of the house as the babies, my little boy and my little girl cried and there was nothing that I could do about it.

As the fire spread, I used all my strength to jump out of the window. What Yara didn’t know was, I was still carrying another two babies in my belly...

I was dizzy, the stress of escaping from the fire and pushing out four babies was finally catching up to me.

I tried my best to keep my eyes open and hold my babies to my chest.

“Miss, are you ok?” Someone approached me and I immediately shifted back because I didn't know if he was working with Yara.

“I promise I'm just trying to help you, you're bleeding, you need to see a doctor.” He tells me and I know that he's right.

“No hospitals.” I tell him, because if I go to a  hospital, Yara will know that I'm alive.

“I understand, there's somewhere I can take you.” He tells me.

The helpful stranger took me and the boys to a homeless rogue shelter, luckily they had a doctor on call that was able to check the boys out and give them their shots. I stayed there for a week and everyone was kind even helped me with the boys but I knew that I couldn't stay there forever, that couldn't be my life.

I couldn't stay there as long as Yara was still here, I couldn't afford running into her one day.

I heard from some of the people at the shelter that Boston was a good place for rogue wolves and that rogues weren't hunted down by the packs there and so that seemed to me like the best place to go.

So I packed my bags and with the last of my savings I bought a one way bus ticket to Boston.

I had no idea what I was going to do there but I had a good feeling about it.

‘I swear I will return and I will take back everything that you've stolen from me……”

NATALIE. No way it was raining, my luck today couldn't be this bad. First I cry in front of Samuel, then I react like I'm in heat when I'm close to him and now this. Hopefully it isn't that heavy and I can still get a cab, but of course as I step outside, it's raining cats and dogs. Even if I managed to hail a cab, it would be too dangerous for the driver to drive on a rainy night like this. Then... How am I supposed to go home? I went back into the house and I made my way into the living room to find Gavin, maybe he could help me, he was the one that arranged the car that took me home the last time I was here. i circled the living room on the first floor to look for Gavin, but the man was nowhere to be seen. “Eh? Where is Gavin?” I ask myself, he might be in the kitchen but I have no idea where the kitchen is in this mansion. I was so confused, I took a step backward. Unknowingly, I bumped into someone with a firm and broad chest. The sudden i

NATALIE. I was shocked to see him standing there, I mean I was so focused on the kids that I didn't even notice that he had walked in and he just stood there staring at me. “How long have you been here?” I ask him. His lips curled up, and he replied in a deep voice, “Since you started the story about the three little pigs.” His gaze was so dark and I felt like a prey under his gaze, I couldn't look him in the eyes so I turned my face away. If he's been here since I started telling the story. That means it's been at least half an hour. Is he really that worried about me hanging out with Franklin and Sophia? Or is it something else entirely? “Alpha Bowers, there's no need to distrust me, I like your kids, I really do and that's why I agreed to read them a bedtime story.” I tell him as I do my best to blink the tears out of my eyes, he really caught me at a bad time. “I mean I'm going to be here at least once a month to help Sophia with her aphasia and

NATALIE. Why is he acting like he doesn't know who I'm talking about? Like he doesn't know that I'm talking about Yara, I mean there's clearly something going on between the two of them. Is she his girlfriend or his mistress? I don't know and I don't care, but Leila does. But of course, I can't mention Yara's name. “You know what I'm talking about Alpha Bowers, stop pretending like you don't.” I say to him. He lifted his gaze lazily and looked at me. “Ms. Edmund, it seems like you are very dissatisfied with me.” He says it like I shouldn't be. “I wouldn't dare,” I told him and I hoped that he could sense the sarcasm in my tone. By the smirk on his face, I could tell that he caught it. But then that smirk took me back to the cafe. I could feel my face heat up and I could tell that it was turning red as my mind went back to the cafe, specifically to when he kissed me so hard that my eyes turned as I got dizzy. I could also feel my heart beat getting f

NATALIE. I recognised that voice immediately, I mean how could I not, as much as I disliked the man it didn't change the fact that for some reason, his voice called to me. Alpha Samuel Bowers, the man infuriated me but there was no denying that my body and my wolf reacted to him, no matter how hard I tried to fight it. I watched the children and I could see the terrified look in their eyes when they heard their fathers voice. “It's ok dears, just continue eating, everything is going to be fine.” I tell them, Franklin doesn't look convinced but he continues eating and so does Sophia. “Where are they?” He asks Gavin as his voice echoes down the hall. “They….They're in the dining room Alpha, they're having lunch.” Gavin replied him nervously and I understood why, Samuel had no idea that I was here, well he was about to. “I see they finally decided to give up on their foolishness.” Samuel says and next thing I hear footsteps approaching the dining room.

NATALIE. After hanging up the phone, I turned around and looked at Yandel and Ross. “Something came up. I have to go. Yandel, Ross just joined Dream Company. Give him the support he needs to begin his research.” Without waiting for Yandel's reply, I rushed off and left the office building. I didn't have the time to go get my car so I hailed a taxi and headed straight toward the Bowers residence. After arriving, I paid for the fare and got out of the car. I had barely got to the ornamental gate when I saw Gavin pacing back and forth with an anxious expression. When he saw that I was finally there, his face lit up. “Ms. Edmund, I'm so glad you're here. I was afraid that you wouldn't come after a phone call from a butler like me...” He says sheepishly or nervously. “Don't worry about it. There's no way that I could have stayed away. Bring me to the children and ask the kitchen to prepare some oatmeal porridge that is easy to digest.” I instruct him. If Alpha

NATALIE. The stunned look on his face was almost comical, I didn't blame him though, I guess I didn't have the face of a chairman, if I and another man were in a room and we were to guess who the chairman was, there was a high possibility that no one would pick me, it would be funny, if it wasn't so insulting. “You are the chairman of Dream Company?” He asks with a very shocked voice. My company Dream Pharmaceutical was quite a new company. Though it was only established three years ago, it quickly became one of the biggest pharmaceutical companies in Delmore due to our effective anti-inflammatory drugs. Everyone knew that Yandel only held fifteen percent of Dream Company's shares. The other seventy percent was in the hands of the chairman. However, my identity as the chairman remained a mystery. Many speculated that the chairman might be an old man who could not show himself in public. I’m pretty sure that Ross and everyone else, never in their wildest dreams
