I walked back into my room and opened the doors to my balcony, I removed the mattress and threw it over the railing, then jumped down next to it. I looked up to see Monica standing at the window of the Beta wing with a smile on her face. I extended my claws and ripped the mattress open, then pulled matches out of my pocket. Lit one and then the entire pack before throwing it on the stuffing, allowing it to ignite and burn. I turned from the packhouse and headed for Linda’s house, I need to make this right, need to ensure that Rochelle will give me the chance to explain exactly what happened. My father’s voice came over my mind link, “son, I need to speak with you, it’s about Rochelle.”
