Chapter Five

Keisha's Pov

"This is where you would be sleeping make yourself comfortable get cleaned up there are clothes in the closet for you to wear when your done I'll call you down for dinner." Adrian said, thanks so much i said as he exist the room.

Looking around I notice how big the room is there is a king sized bed and and a walk in closet, there's also a reading desk and then the bathroom, just how rich is he.

"Yeah yeah I know the place is a mansion but be fast so we don't have to keep mate waiting, I can't wait to meet him and meet his wolf properly," Due said in my head. I know I know whatever dirty thoughts you have, please keep them at Bay and not jump on him. I'm not used to this kind of treatment and him yet and we are in the pack house sooner or later we have to meet with the whole pack members which I'm dreading so bad. "Don't worry things will be perfectly fine with our mate by our side and I'm here for you never forget that."

After talking with due I walk into the bathroom, oh my gosh! It's luxurious here. Stepping under the shower I take a strawberry soap gel, it smells so good strawberries have always been my favorite since I was little. I set the temperature of the water to lukewarm, the soap feels so nice on my skin. After washing myself I take the strawberry shampoo and wash my hair.

Coming out of the shower I tie a towel on my body and my hair, I walk to the closet and it's an actual walk in closet and is stuffed with a lot of clothes, not wasting time I take a ripped jeans and a hoodie with a sneakers and put them on, it's feels nice to have new and clean clothes on. Walking to dry my hair I can't stop thinking about who I will meet during the dinner. I hope they'll like me, done drying my hair I pack it in a bun.

Taking a deep breath I open my door and head downstairs, approaching the dining room, I hear voices and laugher coming from inside, I pause for a moment trying to calm my nerves then I take a deep breath and enter into the dinning room.

Entering into the dinning room I see Adrian and Leo talking and laughing with a girl who looks my age sitting beside Leo, maybe it's his sister.

The three of them turn to look at me as I enter, and Adrian stands up to come meet me.

"Keisha, you look beautiful," he says, smiling warmly at me, thank you I reply feeling my cheeks flush with embarrassment. "Come on, let me introduce you to the others," he said, taking my hands with him.

"Guys this is Keisha my mate, and Keisha this is Leo my beta bad best friend, you've already met him and this is Sophia my sister and Leo's mate."

"Oh my gosh it's so nice meeting you. I've longed for a sister and a friend beside these two for a very long time, we will click so well" Sophia said hugging me, it's nice knowing you, "welcome to the family" Leo said, thanks I'm glad.

As I sit down to eat I began to relax and enjoy the conversation, they are all nice and welcoming that I didn't even realize I told them a little about tho I can't open up completely with them yet since I just met them and I'm happy they didn't push too hard, just letting me tell them the basics and they seem genuinely interested about what I was saying, I'm glad I'm in a place where I feel welcomed.

After dinner, Adrian offered to show me around the pack house and currently we are at a garden. Wow this is really beautiful, "I know, I'm glad you like it this is where I'm to think all the time, my mom made this place and I can't wait for you to meet her she's really lovely and that's when your ready". I would love to meet her too but that's when I'm ready. As the night wears on, I began to feel tired. Adrian offers to walk me back to the pack house and my room, and i accepted gratefully. On our way back I saw some other pack members and I'm surprised by how friendly and welcoming everyone is, and I am starting to feel like I might actually fit in here.

Thanks for everything, for saving and bringing me here, and for showing me your garden I think it's going to be my best place here, I said smiling up at him.

"No problem it's my duty to protect what's mine and I hope one day you'll be able to tell me everything and I'm glad your here,"

He said with a smile of his own. I feel a sudden flutter in my chest at his words, ahh stupid mate bond I actually forgot about the bond and now I'm feeling all sort of this, i push the thought aside for now, I know I'll have to confront it eventually but I just got here let me get used to the place and people first. 

As I reach my room, Adrian turns and takes my hand in his, which I'm getting used to, "Goodnight Keisha," he says softly his eyes searching mine, Goodnight I reply feeling a sudden rush of warmth at the contact. As I close the door behind me, I can't help but smile to myself. Maybe this new life won't be so bad after all.

Adrian's Pov

After dinner, I took Keisha around the pack showing her what it looks like and we ended at the garden which she really seemed to like. After she told me she was tired I offered to take her back to the pack as and her room, which she glady let me.

I feel a sense of relief and happiness wash over me. It's been a long time since I've felt this way, and it's all because of Keisha. I can't help but think about her and how much I want to protect her.

As we were going to her room she thanked me for everything, and told me that she's starting to feel like she might fit in here. I could see the genuine gratitude in her eyes, and it makes me feel even more protective of her.

After saying goodnight to each other 

I took her hand in mine and gave it a gentle squeeze before turning to leave. As I walked away, I couldn't help but feel like my life will change for the better since Keisha is here and the relief I've felt since she stepped into the pack house, and I know there's a lot that's been going on in her past I really hope she tells me soon, but j can't help but smile to myself for having a beautiful mate like her, as I drift off to sleep.

Hearing my alarm I wake up turning it off, hoping to take my bath because I can't wait to see my beautiful mate this morning and eat breakfast with her.

As I step out of the shower, I feel a sense of excitement wash over me. Today I get to see my beautiful mate again. I quickly dry off and get dressed, eager to start my day.

As I make my way to the kitchen, I can't help but think about all the things I want to say to her. I've been waiting for this moment for what feels like an eternity, and I don't want to waste a single second of it.

As I enter the kitchen, I see her sitting at the table, her hair falling in soft waves around her face. She looks up and smiles at me, and my heart skips a beat. I can't believe how lucky I am to have her as my mate.

We sit down to eat breakfast together, and I can feel the warmth of her presence next to me. We talked about our plans for the day and she said she's going to be hanging out with Sophia for a while. I have some pack duties with Leo I have to cover up, sure you're going to be okay? "Yes I'll be fine hanging out with Sophia for a while", right that's better but if you need anything just tell Sophia to call me I said as we finished our breakfast and I can't help but feel grateful for this moment. I know that no matter what happens, I will always cherish this time with her.

I sit in my chair and I'm already missing her presence around me, her intoxicating scent I can't get enough of us, it's only the second day and I'm reacting like this, gosh what is she already doing to me, I really can't wait to finish this and go spend time with her.
