~Selene~ ”Get up!” ”I can’t!” I screamed back at the martyr who had made sure that every muscle in my body was incapable of functioning. ”We’ve been at this for two hours, we’re done.” I said and glared at him from the ground. ”I say when we’re done.” He said and narrowed his eyes at me. I was laying down trying to get one whole breath in but the muscles in my stomach hurt when my lungs expanded, and so did my ribs. I closed my eyes as they were blinded by the sun. The warm rays hitting my body somewhat soothed the ache from today's practice, but there was no way in hell that I was getting back up. A large shadow came over me, blocking out the sun. I exhaled and opened my eyes, Sam was kneeling beside me, sweat dripping from his face but he wasn't out of breath, he didn't look the tiniest bit tired. ”Let’s go.” He said slowly. I pouted and shook my head. ”Not gonna happen.” I said and closed my eyes again. Sam grabbed my arms and yanked me up to a standing position bu
I got up and took a deep breath before going to put some clothes on. I put on a t-shirt and sweatpants, just to get ready and then I would change but I didn't know what I would wear. ”Come, sit,” Mikayla said and dragged out the chair. She preceded to put her full, curly, glossy hair in a gorgeous bun- carefree and I was just ogling her. Mikayla snapped her fingers in front of my face. ”Hello, earth to Selene,” She said and pointed at the empty chair. I shook my head and went to sit on the chair. She turned it so that I was facing her and then she pulled back my hair viciously and did a ponytail to keep it out of my face. She then placed some creamy shit that she called a primer on my skin and smoothed it out. It was nice. It felt like a massage. I had my eyes closed and enjoyed having my face pampered with. But I knew the relaxing moment wouldn't last long, and I was right. ”How was life at your old pack?” She asked, and my eyes flew open. ”Wow, jumping right into it, hu
Mikayla cleared her throat and bit down on her inner cheek. I could tell that she wanted to look at Stephanie but they both knew that I would want the full story. ”Can I continue on your makeup?” She asked me and held up the makeup brush. ”Only if you promise to tell me the truth at the same time,” I said and crossed my arms over my chest. Mikayla went back to doing my makeup and I could see her thoughts spinning inside her head, her jaw was clenched and it looked like she was trying to figure out the words. ”We were friends before they took you away,” Stephanie said when Mikayla didn’t. ”We used to play every day. I remember it like it was yesterday,” she said with a giggle. ”It was before we knew how the world worked, before anyone had been hurt or stabbed in the back. We were innocent and harmless, and we would play like children are supposed to play. Whenever we stopped by, Meredith never had a chance to keep you in, so she always told our parents on the days when there w
My fingers grabbed on harder to his hair, and his fingers thrust faster and harder. I was panting and moaning, unable to think about anything other than his touch. Sam's other hand grabbed my chin and turned my head so that I was facing him and he leaned down, claiming my lips in a dominant kiss. I reached my climax, moaning against his lips and finally being released, panting and sweaty as he held me close. Sam looked me deep in the eyes, they had this power over me, and I couldn't move. I began to take a step back, but he pulled me in, our faces inches apart. ”I’m not done with you yet.” He said and lifted me up so that I was straddling his waist, he pushed me up against the closet doors and started kissing my neck. His hand went away and I heard as he unzipped his pants. I came to my senses, my eyes widened and I pushed at his chest with the little strength I had and came down on my feet. ”No,” I said and shook my head quickly as my fingers touched the spot on my neck t
We drove through the entire town, once we reached the borders to where our town ended and the main road began, we had been driving for a little over an hour. The street lights were lighting up the roads, cars were driving by quickly, and the closer we got to the neighboring town the louder everything became. People were falling over on the streets, singing, dancing, and cheering with their bottles in the air and the music was blasting from all different directions whenever a door opened up. Sam parked the car and we all stepped out, by the looks of it I was the one wearing the most clothes. The girls were doing handstands on the streets, their dresses falling to their heads showing of everything underneath as the guys cheered them on. This was another lifestyle, one I hadn't experienced before and one I wasn't sure I wanted to be a part of. It looked exactly like what I had been told, people dress up, get drunk, make bad decisions, and then feel like shit the day after. ”Hey, are
I released a breath I didn't know I was holding and grabbed my drink. I gulped it down just as quick as the last one and just as I was slurping the last in the glass, the girls came over to the bar. They were laughing and singing to the music as they walked a straight line over to where we were standing. ”Six shots, please!” Steph yelled to the bartender who poured us each a shot of tequila. We raised our glasses and downed the liquor. ”I need to pee,” Mikayla said and Steph followed suit. Vanessa hoped up on a chair beside mine, her eyes were distant and her head was down. Sam and Dave were talking on their own side but I saw the shallow glances Sam was throwing my way. I turned around and placed my hand on Vanessa's arm. ”Are you alright?” I asked her. Vanessa forced a big smile and nodded her head. ”Yeah, of course I am,” she said happily but the undertone said differently. My eyes fell, I realized just now that Vanessa wanted me to open up, to confide in her, but it wou
I took a step forward, my head still turned and watching sam and Vanessa walk away. I missed a step and fell down, yelping as I prepared to hit the floor, but the hit never came. I was flung back up and spun around. My hand flew to my mouth and I took a deep breath, forcing the vomit to stay down. When I regained my focus, I was staring into some deeply angered eyes. ”Are you drunk?” Dave growled. His hands were holding my shoulders, he forcibly held me in place. ”No,” I scoffed but I didn't even believe my own words. Lying was harder when you were drunk. I took another step but fell again. ”Shit,” Dave groaned. ”Selene, what the fuck is happening?” Dave placed me on the chair but I didn't answer his question. His hand lowered to my thigh and he dug his fingers into my flesh, making me wince. If he wasn't suspicious earlier, he definitely was now. ”Werewolves don't get drunk on the little booze we have had and they definitely don't flinch from that.” He growled. ”Shh!” I sa
~Percy~ ”Just fucking get it!” I slammed the phone down against my desk, my hands were stretching and flexing against the oak wood surface. My claws extended and started scratching into the desk, my breathing was excelling and my wolf was reaching the surface. ”Hey, Percy?” I heard Patricks' voice from the door but it faded into the rage that was currently consuming me. Nothing was as planned, the rogue attacks were multiplying, and other packs were reaching for our help in defeating them. My pack members were in a frenzy after word got out about Alpha Damien's involvement in current events regarding my mate. And a rumor had spread that my mate was the long-lost princess of The Shadow Land pack and the previous punching bag of my pack. We had a rat in the pack, someone who received and then distributed information that was not for the masses. I had an idea of who it was but no concrete proof. Whilst all this bullshit was happening, Selene was living amongst people she couldn
