Chapter 26

Alana's POV.

Seated, I watched the air blow through the night sky, and when I was starting to get frozen, I decided to walk back inside my room.

In my head, I had imagined lots of things that would have happened between Ava and Alaric, and I was regretting most of them.

I'm still the one who would most likely get punished because Ava is a full-fledged royal here, and for Alpha Matthew to even betrothe her to his son, he must have thought she was the most perfect.

Anyway, I shouldn't be concerned by all of that, so when I got back inside and felt my skin too dry, I decided to use the new moisturizer that the maids brought for me.

Soon, I was ready for bed and went to sleep. By the way, the maids also mentioned that Alpha Matthew wanted me to join them for breakfast tomorrow morning to discuss some plans he had for me.

I was happy about that. At least my tomorrow might be good after all.
