Lucinda’s burial

It was a freezing morning as Jeannette walked briskly through the street, she couldn't wait to get home yet.

After everything happened to Lorenzo, she had decided to lay low for now.

The early morning haze swung in the air, summing up with an ominous atmosphere to the surroundings.

Jeannette held her bag tightly, and she constricted her coat around her.

Her footsteps reverberated against the pavement as she scurried towards her house which a few walks away.

Just as Jeannette veered around a corner onto her street, a feeling of relief washed over her as soon as she saw her house a few blocks away.

Finallyshe arrived at her house, and Jeannette fumble with her keys.

Her breath were creating perceptible puffs of fog in the chilly air.

Hence, she swung the door open, and stepped inside before shutting out the cold world behind her.

Jeannette ambled to the couch, but she didn't sit as she struggled to remove her coat first.

She could not even register her surroundings for a moment.
