Lucinda’s death

The morning rays gently screened through the window, and it was radiating a soft shimmer upon Tinsley's face.

All of a sudden she stirred up, her eyes were deeply red and swollen from the tears she shed last night.

The weight of the event settled heavily in her heart and her soul is crushed.

In a slow motion, Tinsely stood to her feet and then she walked towards the window, her steps are quiet and mild.

Getting to the window, she pulled the white curtains aside as she gazed cityscape before her.

Lost in her mess thoughts, she continued staring silently at the scuttling streets below with her mind filled with the memories of the party.

The consequence of it all felt stifling, and she yearned for a moment of peace amidst the disarray that had gobbled her life.

An hour later, Tinsely still stood at the window, trying to sought comfort in her silent contemplation.

Unexpectedly, the door of her room swung open, and Rosalie flew in, her face filled with intensity.
